I rarely pay for iOS games, but I've gotten more than my money's worth here. Really great game and it's easily worth the cost.

From the screenshots you might think this game is a RTS. However its instead a clever rogue-like game where at most you might control 3 ships. Explore the turn based galaxy and engage in real time battles with heavily customizable ships. This game is an easy recommendation

The description says it all but what you don't see is the depth. On the surface, it's a pixelated space strategy game but once the surface is peeled back; you realize that some of the best elements that make strategy games highly replayable are here! RPG, Rogue-like, Real-time, AND Turn based strategy with resource management and let's not forget the ability to add 2 more ships(which are ALSO customizable) to your convoy. This is one of THE best strategy games in the entire App Store and it's premium(no IAP's, even though I wish there were DLC's to buy) AND it's .99 freakin' cents! Stop reading reviews and BUY THIS GAME before you spend more on less of a game! Don't be stupid.

I really love this game. A bit of roguelike. Awesome spaceships with upgrades. Not overly complicated to learn or play. Can play in short stints. Really excellent job by the creators.

Trust me, get this game. I've been playing this game for over a year now and it's still my favorite. The strategy aspect is surprisingly deep. Tons of ships to choose from and buy each with unique capabilities and features. Tons of weapons to buy and salvage from battles and upgrade. Adjust fleet formations. Each star system is unique and randomized to never be the same. 5 alien races to battle. Mini-missions, endless mode and so much more. GET THIS GAME

Very pleasantly surprised by this game, its about time that you can find a game in the store pay one time and play forever. You don't have to worry about spending money just to beat a boss just fly around more and get better guns.

So it's hard. But in a good way. After you die a few times you start to get the hang of it. Read the wiki if you need. But most importantly play the game!!! It's much better than the graphics suggest at first. The Good: Engaging in depth game play. Great customization options. Solid replay ability. The leveling system gives you something to strive for. The Ok: The graphics aren't on par with other modern games. But are far better than most some game designer's. The Bad: Tutorial only gives you the basics. There is a lot of information in the game and you find it by playing. If your the type of person who wants to know it ahead of time that will be frustrating.
