This app seems to do a pretty good job at matching lure choices w conditions.

Skunk free days!!

CopCale

Traditionally a saltwater guy I never pay attention to lunar schedules or tide schedules because I always catch something...it’s the ocean!! But now I Bass fish 7 days a week and I would skunk days even weeks at a time. Until I reached the end of the line and decided to use BassForecast as my guide. I feel like such an idiot for not finding this app sooner. Never thought Bass fishing requires more skill and knowledge than saltwater.

This app is a gimmick.

I’ve been using this app a little while it has done nothing but make me fish more. The times of day listed as major I don’t even get strikes. So far I’ve been out thirty or so times, early and late and nothing. I wasn’t sure if I was using the app correctly or what was going on so I emailed the support people and they haven’t responded as of 5 days later. I highly recommend not buying into the premium app if you try the app at all.

Poor costumer servace

ggrydgebdhue

I got this app not long ago and purchased the premium, but when I logged on another device the it did not let me use the premium after restoring purchases and even deleting and reinstalling the app. I tried emailing and got little help and then nothing after the next several days. I even tried calling but no one answered. If I got some help I might change my mind. But other than the costumer service the app itself works well.

Problems

M3912rmk2008

Trying to purchase the 60 day trial and 1 year subscription. It will not allow me to make this purchase. Continues to say “user cancelled request” which I haven’t. Is this a common issue with this app? If so, am I going to be charged for a premium offer that I can’t use? That’s right, the app still won’t let me use the premium even though I’ve applied and bought it.

Somewhat helpful, not sure yet

This is a preliminary review which I fully intend to update based on use during the 2 month membership trial. So my initial thoughts and observations are as follows. 1. First and most important in my mind, is Bass Fishing really this bad in Michigan?!?! I mean maybe the criteria for what counts as a “good” or “epic” day is slightly too high because I’ve been using the app for several weeks and have yet to see a day above a “fair” rating. I take that back. There was one day this past weekend when I looked at the app and it was giving July 2nd a good rating for one area but the next day it was gone and changed to fair. I get that the app relies on lunar phases and weather patterns (I assume), but typically when I see anything in life that is rated at “fair” I stay away. I want good or better. My worry is if take this app as the Gospel, I’d likely be doing less fishing. 2. Second area I’m struggling with the portion of the app that tells anglers what areas of the lake to focus on. I’ve been fishing for years but I don’t frequent forums or read scientific white papers on fishing terminology. So while a “secondary point” might seem like a term that every angler understands, for the novice angler it’s something that they’re left to research. If you could at least give a basic explanation it would help a person like me to grasp what areas you’re targeting. To expert anglers this might sound crazy that a novice doesn’t know all of the terminology but in my own personal opinion I don’t think an app like is targeted towards experts because most of this knowledge is something they already have.

They won’t contact you when you reach out to them

I bought the premium version but got a new phone and can’t remember my login. I reached out several times to no avail. Once they get your money they don’t seem to care.
