I love having the nook reading app on my iPad, BUT you can't shop and buy new reads from it. You have to go to the B&N site to shop. I got an email about a quick link to make it easier for shopping but nothing pops up for me to download. I'd give this app a higher rating if I could shop and buy books directly from the app.

I honestly don't know what I did before Nook! It's so easy to use. It keeps all my books in one place, I don't have to worry about lugging more than one book around when I'm on a trip. I have a first generation black and white, and a Nook Color. I still use these periodically, but mostly use the Nook app on my IPad.

I can download my books to both my iPhone and iPad and generally they sync, so that if I open a book in one after reading in the other, it will ask me if I want to go to where I left off in the other. But sometimes that doesn't work, so I have to pull out the other to check where I left off. That's the only downside. On the upside, I can adjust the font and organize my books however I want. It's great to have my books wherever I am.

I read with all of the above, especially since I purchased my iPad just this year. And love all of them. I haven't had any problems as stated below (as of yet) I do however read all the hints/tricks that Nook forwards in the emails and they are quiet helpful and very useful. The ONLY issue I do have and agree with prior, using the "shelf" is frustrating and could be more user friendly. ?

Doesn't have a way to create an account in the app. Can't figure out how to buy a book. Had to log in twice in a row. Have any of the programmers actually tried to _use_ the app?

I love reading. I love this app. It lets me down load tons of my books. If & when I don't take my Nook I take my iPhone which has my books already down loaded on my iPhone. Thanks Nook App.

I'm a newish Nook reader and I am actually liking this. With the clarity of modern tablets the only thing missing is the feel of the paper in your hands. I may finally be done with a laptop, magazines, and books. That is very hard for me to admit.
