I haven't seen a backgammon game, played by one, that has a fair chance to be one player. Each time when the computer plays there seems to be more doubles for the computer, thus the computer wins. So player, if you play against the computer don't expect to win a fair game.

This game cheats to give itself wins. It always rolls what it needs to either bump me or to get itself back on the the board. In five games, I never won, nor did I ever come close.

It's a shame the computer cheats. Every time it needs doubts to win it gets them! Or if you have a lone marker rest assured it will knock you off the board. Dissapointing

Crashes when closing ads, crashes when closing after first roll, crashes for no apparent reason, fails to save matches in progress automatically. No More Moves logic faulty (dice pips show legal move available). Nice game - too bad no roll-back to previous rev.
Could be so much better

I'm looking for a good BG game to play after a frustrating year with a certain highly recommended version of BG. I liked this version except that it was so very slow to play. One has to tap precisely on the checker one wants to move. No being lazy and tapping on the bar. Or on another checker in the same row. The game only moves one number at a time (for instance I had a double 2. I had to tap and move the same checker four times to move it 8places.) There is no option for moving one checker the corresponding number on both dice. If one rolls a 6 and 3, and wants to move one checker 9 spaces one has to move the six place then the three place. The dice rolls seemed fairly random. I've not played it at the highest levels. But liked what I did play. The computer lost gracefully, albeit slowly.

The last update took away the ability to play more than one game in a match. Please fix! It continually crashes, especially when I am winning! Please fix this, I used to love to play this.

Overall, this is a very good game of backgammon. The virtual board is very realistic. The game play is good with a few exceptions. I wouldn't say it cheats, but the random-number generator seems biased at times. Is there an ad-free version? I'd be willing to pay a couple of bucks to avoid those annoying ads. My biggest complaint is the "undo" button. It wipes out the entire roll when I only want to change the move I made. All in all, it is a fun game.
