The app is unhelpful, buggy and ultimately doesn’t work - leading me to sit on hold for an hour only to have the customer service representative perform user acceptance testing with me on the line.

I have emailed many times with only one response which was ( due to high volume expected time to wait is unknown ) I have been trying to update my profile because one of my children are showing 4 times ! No help what so ever . Something so simple that is stopping me from getting the crisis care .. I have 3 kids and no help .

The company I work for is providing us with reimbursement for childcare during Covid-19 due to school cancellations. Which I am super great full for! The back up care is set up through bright horizons, I have set up multiple days for reimbursement care and sometimes they show up and sometimes they don’t. I have emailed multiple times and the first time the company emailed me stating they could not reimbursement me for past days. Even though the issues were not of my own, they told me to call even though I can never get through. Last week I put in almost 2 weeks of dates for reimbursement and they have still not show. Up in my profile. I have emailed multiple times and received no response. I understand that they are very busy, however if they are not going to answer in a timely fashion they should backdate due to their system having issues. It’s disappointing to be paying for childcare out of pocket because bright horizons can’t solve my issue. The app also tells me every time it can not retrieve my information.


Does not allow me to sign on

I have been using their website and I keep on getting reminders to download the app. I download the app and try to sign on and it keeps giving me an error saying that I cannot sign on to please use their website. What a joke!

I hope employers considering this company consider the reviews. If you value your employees do not use a Bright Horizons to help during the Covid-19 crisis. The have managed to make a crisis worse by being unreliable, unreachable and provide a website and app that have bugs an errors so simple as editing a reservation or locating the crisis care reservation link. The first few days that crisis care had been awarded to my coworker and I via a major bank, the website crashed multiple times for days! Those are days your can’t be reimbursed for because by design the website only lets you book future reservations. Accidentally deleted your reservation with days from the past? Sorry you just lost out. But don’t work a tight Horizons you’ll be paid by our corporations to provide an useable service. PLEASE READ THE COMMENTS BELOW THEY ARE ALL TRUE. @BRIGHTHORIZONS please don’t ask me to email you regarding my issues as I have multiple times with zero responses. As a single dad of two who aren’t in school while I’m at work I guess I’ll have to eat the loss of ever being reimbursed by your useless company. This company should file bankruptcy and close doors. I’m they operate like they are half way there.

Can’t stress enough how terrible they are. This should be -100 stars. You can NEVER get thru on the phone, my belief is they just turn on hold music! I called at 1am pst since that’s the only time you can even attempt to hold - you’re otherwise told there’s too many callers. I waited 4 HOURS! Still no answer! Literally a joke. We’ve been in this months and they still can’t get things right. -100000 stars.

You won’t back pay, yet you can’t get a hold of anyone. I’ve sent multiple emails (at least 5) and never received a response. I’ve spent probably 20 hours in total on hold within the last 2 weeks and STILL haven’t gotten a hold of anyone. I’ve submitted the requests. They say they’re completed and went through, yet it’s been 2 weeks for one and I haven’t received reimbursement, for that week, or the week after, and it’s been more than 10 days. It’s a joke.

I called and called trying to get crisis help for my kids the banner appeared for a few days then just went away when I still have crisis day to use throughout the month. You reach out and no one answers or tried to help you get the help you need . This is crazy

Talk about a piece of garbage app!!!! I have been trying for days to reserve care!!! I have gotten emails saying you can’t find my info!!! BS!!! I’m letting my HR at Wells Fargo know what a crappy service this is to their employees!!! It’s been nothing but aggravation and poor customer service. You don’t even get to text a live person and the automated just gives you the run around!!! I’ll be letting every one at my work know just how miserable crisis care has been during. Freaking crisis!!! SHAME ON THIS BUISNESS!!!!!!


App NEVER works! Can never get help!

The app NEVER works!!! It always says “We can’t access any data right now” You can’t get anyone from Bright Horizons on the phone to help. This has just been a nightmare!!!!
