I really like this calendar app

You know what? This app is really really good. I was using Calender5 and I liked it as well, especially it's use of natural language to make appointments. Now Awesome Calendar has that too! But there's so much more to like about Awesome Calendar, such as being able to color coordinate your appointment system. For instance, certain types of appointments are purple, while other types of appointments are red. If I have time scheduled with friends, that's green, and so on. Super cool. That's not all, of course. I love the multiple views from month, to week, to agenda and Filofax, it's just easy. I've also used the notes portion of this calendar for information I must remember in light of whatever I'm doing, or need to do. Next, I love that I can get good weather information on this app which is relevant to my schedule! Super cool, and great idea. Lastly (there's more to say, I just don't have the time), I like that the developers consistently improve this calendar, seemingly with the intention to make it better than anything out there. I'm sure they'll have more available soon enough. Sometimes they make big changes, sometimes small, but they're consistent, and I appreciate that. I always worry that when I spend the money, soon after, developers will lose interest. So far these guys stay on course. To The DEVELOPERS: Keep it up people! Lots of great ideas on the forum that so many of us would love to see!

I was disappointed when the sunrise calendar app was discontinued and on the hunt for a replacement found this one. Frankly, it's better and more powerful. I particularly like the icons I can place to highlight important dates. Highly recommended.

Can't open it...freezes me out

Very disappointed. I really needed a good calendar as the one that came with my iPhone disappears after awhile. I want my money back.

Now every time I enter an event I have to press on " Show more details " - really ???? What the heck is that for - it is terribly annoying . Just get rid of it and keep it simple ( as before !) . No one likes to enter duplicitous information - streamline , simple , easy ...

This is an excellent app, and I'm picky about these things. A few very minor annoyances - nothing to even be noted really. I would recommend it to anyone.

This calendar was fantastic before the latest update. It is the best calendar on earth – please, please, please fix it! Now, the natural language makes it impossible for me to enter anything at the correct time. It takes forever, and even if I tap "show more" (which is absolutely terrible to have make an extra click to be able to enter something in a calendar), it literally enters everything I enter on the day after I'm trying to enter it! My work around right now is that I am literally entering everything on the day before I want to enter it. I don't want people to try this calendar right now, write bad reviews, and then have the whole thing destroyed. Instead, I am hoping that as a long-time user who completely 100% loves this calendar, the developers will fix it immediately so that it can go back to being the fantastic calendar that it is. Please fix it!! Please make the natural language an option in the settings, not something that you have to tap every single time! This really is an awesome calendar, and I really, really, really hope it gets fixed as soon as possible.

My husband and I have been using Awesome Calendar for several years. It interacts perfectly with iCal and syncing with iCloud. We initially switched to Awesome Calendar to view "all day" banners in color and across multiple days. It's easy to use and easy to move events from one day to another. We both really like it.

I chose this App because I didn't find the mobile version of iCal functional. Representing events as dots is silly. This product displays your monthly calendar similar to the iCal desktop product. Seamless integration with events in ICal. The ability to add symbols and emoticons is not really necessary. It's very clunky to add more than one emoticon. A little have to navigate. I like being able to add reminders in the app and have it crosstalk to reminders. I like the integrated weather. It would be nice to have easier navigation between screens. Overall a good product.

Love, love, love this app. Makes me happy to have a calendar that works plus is fun and pretty. Awesome is the perfect word for this app!!!!!!!!!
