I sync this to google calendar, which then automatically pushes the schedule out to all my family's phones. By far the best app to visually manage tasks in a month view. Love it.

Much better than iCal

This does everything I wish iCal would do!

Very appropriately named app ;-) Try the free one, I bet you'll be back for the paid one. Update: new "natural language" feature means extra steps to input an event if you prefer to do it the normal way. Please add a toggle in settings for those of us who prefer to simply enter the time and date normally.

I've been using this calendar app for about 3 years now and I can't go back to the boring iPhone one. I love how I can customize the colors and even add cute stickers! This is my first time ever writing a review about an app. But it's so cute:)

As of now UPDATE Sep 07, 2016: This calendar is becoming more helpful and easier, therefore IT IS AWSOME! Thank you. Original review of a few years ago: This isn't the only calendar app I have tried and used for THREE months now. (I have tried and used many!) This one I am keeping and one more. In a way this is too busy, but practical too. The other one is simpler. I use both because they are all anyways linked with my built in calendar which is anyways linked/synced with my and spouse's Google calendars. This one is awesome indeed. If you ask me if it got it ALL perfect?.. I wouldn't say so, because nothing in this world is perfect, but it's a keeper and being used on a steady basis many times per day.

Update 9/8/2016: This used to be a great app but the latest update has the stupidest defaults set up and even when I go to settings to change these defaults, it doesn't work. For example, when I now create an item for the calendar it is defaulting to two days with some weirdo time period. So for each item I create, I now have 3 extra clicks which is 1) default to all day 2) select the start date 3) select the end date. Why did they have to mess with such a good app.. Now I'm regretting having paid for this. Updated my review of this to 2 stars. --------- Original 5 star review: I hate paying for apps but the iPhone's stock calendar just didn't cut it. I like to be able to see a month view with a word or two that states what's going on that I need to do for the day. I was previously using Samsung Galaxy phones for years and loved their stock calendar. AwesomeCalendar does what I need. I like the color choices of the calendar and when I found out you can add little images on the calendar, I thought it was cute and I wouldn't be using it. But I actually do use it for things I want to stand out! I have my calendar hooked to my email account and so far it has been saving everything. All in all, this app does what I need and am happy with my purchase.

A calendar that actually looks like a calendar. I can see my workdays my events everything at one view. Simple to use, simple to figure out your schedule and events. I love love love this app! If I had one negative thing to say, it's that the last months dates show at the beginning of the next month. That is very confusing. It should simply be for example September 1 when you go to the next month. It should not have The end ofAugust dates on the beginning of the next month. If they can fix that it would be perfect!
