Am very disappointed with Avant and will be taking my loan to another provider . I feel as a customer I have been given the runaround by very scripted call centers .

Posting payments to the card is too long. Anything over 2 days is too long.

Just wanted to say thank you for this awesome opportunity to get a loan and making it easy to pay it back. I would like to ask for another loan to add to this one. Is it possible. I paid more than half on it already.

After having this card for a year ! I was always on time making payments sometimes 2-3 a month I was late one month by 3 days and would not even let it pass that one time. For being such a faithful customer all this time. I was just very disappointed that the company wouldn’t wouldn’t let this go this one time after all this time of always paying more then what was due or paying many times through the month. It’s not like I had a track record of being late all the time. Never happened. I was 3 days late and they wouldn’t even consider to change it . Not only that it’s still showing on my credit report that I still owe a higher balance then what I do! Because soon after I made my payment a week later I made another payment. And it’s still has not updated! Sure they like to make you look bad on your credit report when you don’t even owe that. But yet won’t work with you for a 3 day late payment.

Called to report a lost card. Got transferred 3 times. The department who deals with lost cards could not locate my account and kept telling me to speak to a supervisor at Avant. The Avant team could not comprehend this and kept insisting on transferring me back to the lost card team. After I told the supervisor I wanted to cancel the account, she tried to tell me my benefits. I hung up.

Avant- helped me where others didn’t. With Christmas that was two months away at the time I needed help they came thru.

Their payment recording is weird

I send more than half of my monthly payment every 2 weeks, prior to the due date (HINT: I use automatic bill pay from my bank, NOT ACH withdrawal). I get notifications when my payments are processed. However, they STILL send me notifications that my monthly payment is due EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE ALREADY PROCESSED MY PAYMENTS. This is the only creditor I have that does this. If I weren’t paying close attention to the payments I send them, I would be really confused by their automated notifications. If you’re going to get a loan from Avant, pay close attention to your submitted payments. Don’t rely on their notifications. AND DON’T ALLOW ANY CREDITOR ACCESS TO YOUR BANK ACCOUNTS THROUGH ACH DEBITS.

Awful service for long-time military member

Having never missed a payment, I reached out to find out how much I owe. I’m my app has shown that I only owe two more payments. After my call today, I find out that I’ll owe more money because a a deferment that doesn’t show anywhere in my paperwork. I was told after my final payment is processed I will then find out how much more I owe. This is horrible hocus-pocus math and a horrible way to treat customers who have never been late or missed a payment.
