My favorite DAW

SouLMas5

Been making tracks for 15 years. This app is pure gold. Yeah the subscription cost is a problem- IF you’re a broke hobbyist who just don’t “have it”. Worth every penny for serious musicians. I would like to see a little more synth building options and maybe a sampler built in sample recorder/editor but for now this is great. Search “soulmas5” on Instagram/SoundCloud to see what this app can do in the hands of a real musician.

Its good but...

Great app and easy to use, but please add an option to change specific frequencies of beats... I wanna make music in 432 hz but I dont believe there is an option for this. Please reply if u dont plan on adding this or do

I’ve been with Auxy since it was an iPad exclusive app. I’m not fond of the new pay to play features but it’s exponentially better now so it warrants some form of cash flow. It’s an incredibly and professional sounding app that lets you develop music on the go. I couldn’t ask for more.

This app used to be a four star app. It ALMOST became a 5 star app

Neither of my iPads can run this app very well now and the technology isn’t even old yet. It uses a lazy loading method for nearly everything. Everything takes an exceedingly long time to load. My samples won’t load at all. Yes I have a large sample library stored on my iCloud, but are there any REAL producers that use a small sample library? 40 gigs of samples shouldn’t take literally 6 hours to load up, usually just resulting in a crash. I maschine2 can handle loading my samples in at lightning speed. Talk to your programmers about including a loading method that isn’t a form of lazy loading. We need real processing power allocated to the loading of all samples. The way this app now handles even loading it’s own inbuilt samples is slow. It takes away from any form of creativity I had. When you can’t work with it as a mobile DAW, what is the point of sound production when it takes over 2 minutes to load your own basic sounds. Until I can actually use this app at a decent speed, I’m don’t paying for it. Two different accounts I used to pay for this app. I have bought over 40 dollars worth of content BEFORE you guys made it pay to play. Now I’m finding myself wanting to cancel both subscriptions. I wish I could get my money back for everything I paid for, expecting to be able to actually make music. I am willing to remove this review when the app actually has function and not just aesthetics.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I’m tired of subscription models. Making the sound packs available again was a nice gesture, but since it has an expiration date that gesture feels empty. Sorry for not being born into wealth, but I simply can’t justify flushing $5 down the drain each month. I’m too broke for this.

It decent

In a recent update, they made it yet harder to get to the original sounds without paying, they converted the one time payment to a subscription, and they strait up deleted access to drum kits that were available in the previous version. All that made my five star rating a three. Otherwise, it’s freaking amazing.

Good

Timing issues, quality sound. Effects seem limited, however, I only have the trial version. Why is this set up as a monthly membership fee? No other app like this charges this way - the only reason I haven’t bought full version.

Bait and switch?

I downloaded Auxy after a friend recommended it to me. I loved it even though I didn’t have anything but the demo beginning sounds. But about a month or two after they released the new update and all my favorite sounds were replaced by seven sucky ones! Please fix!

Love it but what's up with the new update?

I've bought like 5 packs besides one and when I updated my phone to ios11 to get the latest update for auxy I went to go check the packs and they were gone and now its just a bunch of sounds that you can get if you get premium which you have to pay monthly. And I dont want to pay monthly id like to just pay for the packs and be done with it.

I’m fine with the subscription and all, I feel both subscription and purchases should be in place but that’s just me. My only problem is a lot of the sounds and drums I loved are gone now. I have 8 melodic sounds and 3 drums, when I remember so much more. It’s kinda hard working with what’s been given now.
