Good potentially great

mdlgto2

Really useful. I would love to be able to print, print to PDF, and have an ability to add blocks and more basic drawing functions...that said, I love the interface, I love using my pencil...gray for a landscape architect.

Useless

Mikezots

Still missing features, like mirror, but no longer completely useless.

This app is not free

This app while being free to download, won’t do anything unless you pay $50 or $100 for a yearly subscription

Intuitive and easy to use

Hoosier242

I’m an aerospace engineer and use full up AutoCAD. With AutoCAD there is always a learning curve but I found this easy to use on the iPad Pro. I logged in with my existing license and all of my data and drawings were there and ready from my OneDrive. I will likely not use this for creating advanced drawings, but for quick edits etc on the go it’s pretty great. I like it better than the AutoCAD web version also.

Bad support

DR2424

I test the app for being able to use external references in a drawing and it did work good after an upgrade it was taken out for a promise that it will be added in future releases The support is the terrible you just get an email saying we are working on it. If I could give 0 upgrade I would a wasted money for a few more $ you can can get an app that works

Where are all the standard commands?

No Tone

I can’t tell you how excited I was to see this app. I am equally disappointed with it. Where are the basic commands? There’s no mirror, fillet, etc... The available blocks are nice however there aren’t options. For example, the door block is a 30” door. If you need a 3’-0” door you’re out of luck. If you need to mirror that 30” door you’re equally out of luck. Autodesk, please contact me when the app has all of Autocad’s basic commands. For anyone considering, I recommend you wait or look for other options.

Basic functions don't work.

I'm trying to work this into my workflow, but frustrated at every turn. You can get stuck in the file picker without the ability to actually view a file. In some DWGs I get no tools, just the top right menus, with no explanation as to why. In a new drawing, there are no instructions how to manage the tools with touch. For example, if I make a rectangle, then try to move it, the tool just prompts me to select the object to move. On desktop I would hit enter to proceed to moving... but there's no keyboard here. So I literally can't *move* objects. Apparently there used to be printing/plotting, but it has been removed for the sake of charging more.
