Does what it says and works relatively well (better than Ubuntu one music) but to use it you are forced to pay for cloud service. .99¢ a month for 5gb and unlimited streaming is worth it.

If you want to store your music collection and not be tied to a provider or a mobile platform this is the platform to use.

Use this on a daily basis, don't mind paying 4.99 a month for something that works smooth and with a nice UI. Compared to other services this one is in a league of its own. Nothing comes close to it besides to having the music on the actual device.

You don't need pay for the cloud to use there service if you are just trying to stream from your computer at home. It's super smooth an load everything pretty fast. Only thing it doesn't have is a playlist feature. PS. Plex can eat a dick.

I have been monitoring this app for since it came out over a year ago. It has never worked properly since it's inception. I was hoping I could use this as an alternative to audio galaxy but this service and software has been complete garbage the entire time. The desktop app is basic and fails to detect all my music. It also is constantly writing to my hard drive as it "updates" the database file of my music. Both the web player and the iOS app do not work. The iOS app at least is able to pull up about 1% of my music but it will not actually play any songs. I really wanted this app to work but after over a year of hoping, I think I am done. Terrible.

Like another reviewer, if been watching audiobox for some time, and have never gotten the desktop feature to come remotely close to working. It can't scan much more than 10,000 files before crashing, so I've never been able to keep it running long enough to test the streaming. I'd be happy to pay for this service if, yknow, it actually worked (esp on large libraries)

First, it's not clear from the description that this is a subscription-based service. Period. You can't really do anything without paying a monthly fee. Second, the Mac OS desktop app requires Java runtime? What? Was this written by two high-school students in the basement? I'm not loading Java runtime on my brand new MacBook Pro just for this.
