Still very unstable as of 1/17/2022. Over 2 hrs and unable to stream my local station. Good thing there’s no urgent weather to be concerned about. While I like to stream from this app, I often pause it to take calls and then get back to it later. I find that it won’t restart and even won’t let me tap the Go to Live button. Needs some work. Definitely not as good as iHeart. I only started to use Radio.com app (now Audacy) because my local station changed ownership and left iHeart.

Often unstable, now unusable

Beginning on January the app abruptly stopped when moving beyond the home screen. I restarted my iPhone 6 and that didn’t help, nor did reloading the app. My operating system is consistent with what’s required but now the app is unusable and I’m missing WRVA. What’s going on? Do you now require something more than iOS 11?

It does the exact same thing as previous person talks about how it freezes up when opening others apps are its don’t even play when trying to open it. There’s a glitch are some kind of software issue with it . It played fine before all the upgrades but not so good now. When the app is deleted and reinstalled it works fine for a little while but then goes back to the glitch.

The ads are long and annoying

Do you like 5 minutes of commercials after every 10 minutes of music? Do you like to hear the same 5 commercials over and over and over until you want to gouge your ears out?? Do you like to hear the same commercial 3 to 4 times in a row during the same commercial break? Do you like commercials pushing liberal propaganda and identity politics? Do you not want to hear any local commercials or news and instead want to listen to generic commercials for stuff you don’t care about over and over and over and over….. If you answered no to any of these questions than this app is not for you!!!

Connections to stations drop intermittently. Streams don’t resume properly when interrupted. I get tons of ads. Ads are in Spanish; I speak English.

The only thing that this app consistently streams is commercials. Good luck trying to listen to any other stream for more than 20mins. Most unreliable app I’ve ever used.

The same small set of advertisements all day long, some ads will play as many as four times in one break and the ads themselves are irritating to begin with. The rewind button often works incorrectly or not at all. When it does work it eventually jumps back to live radio for no reason. I switched ears on my air pods and the app rewound by five minutes. The app freezes pretty frequently too, or randomly rewinds by a half hour. There are many times that I have to stop listening because I can’t handle the same bad commercials every ten minutes. I really wish my favorite radio show wasn’t on this horrendous piece of garbage.

Only reason I’m not giving this 1 star is because you can rewind 24 hours. But if you pause the stream or are in an app that uses audio and pauses the stream you’re taking a huge gamble. So bad, so inconsistent, there’s no reason this app should handle streaming so badly. I’m using the app right now and somehow it went back to almost an hour ago and they have the audacity to force play adds. Needs a lot of work, clear cash grab from the radio.com days. Crazy that a company being bought out and/or rebranded gets worse than the previous product. It works (kinda), but should be so much better.

I love this app because I can listen to my favorite stations, particularly the sport radio, from my hometown. However, far too often is gives error messages, it buffers/loads endlessly and so the stations are virtually impossible to connect to. Even the pre-recorded podcasts of the stations segments and different shows. It’s maddening and hasn’t gotten any better since Radio.com was changed to Audacy.

This app is trash. It never works the same way twice. Stations don’t load. Content from stations don’t load. The rewind function is hit and miss. I absolutely hate this thing.
