Ad overload/No Android TV option

rudyru01

I don't mind the ads but when you exit the app temporarily upon returning there’s more waiting for you after watching 7 in a row another 7 in a row. Doesn’t resume where you left off until after the ads. Also where is the Android TV support??? It’s available on the fire stick but not in Google’s play store. Please address these issues. Thank you!

Impossible to use

One of the best streaming services out there. Bummer! The app was updated yesterday, and from what people are saying, it still doesn't work. (Watching on a desktop computer doesn't work either, it'll crash there, too.) The app has been like this since last year, I think hope is gone.

V3.0.1 still has login issue (updated)

Still can’t log in. “Oops 50001-001”. iPhone XS Max. iOS 12.4. Tried on AT&T network and on WiFi at work (Comcast). Update: It turns out you’re not allowed to log in until you’ve picked your premium channel. I didn’t realize this until I’d installed the account management app and it prompted me for my choice. The “oops” error message could be more descriptive. I’ll update my rating after I’ve had the chance to use the app.

I don’t know if I have poor internet or the live tv just always has interruptions. Either way. Garbage

Sure the price is good but..

The app stalls during almost every commercial break because AT&T runs their commercials over a lot of the regular aired commercials causing you to have to reload the app almost every commercial break. Sure, the price is good, but it’s not worth the headache of actually trying to watch live TV. Pay a little more for SlingTV and avoid the headaches involved with AT&T WatchTV.

For the free yes indeed!

I truly love the channels I get; it’s all the main channels besides E and Bravo (please get those too ?) and since my bill is pretty steep the free app makes it worth it. Keep this!

Doesn’t measure up

We have WatchTV free with our cell phone plan and use it alongside PSVue on a Firestick to supplement a few live channels that PSVue doesn’t offer. App navigation is ok, but the biggest issue is in playback of shows. There is no DVR, so shows are served on demand (you do have the option to tag a show as a favorite and see which episodes you haven’t watched yet). The ads are VERY frequent during playback. I just timed a 1 hour show and there were 7 ad segments consisting of 4-6 ads each (a total of 3 minutes each time). That’s standard live TV commercial time but far more than the standard streaming on demand ad time. This wouldn’t be so bad if the ads didn’t CONSTANTLY freeze for several seconds, so 3 minutes of ads often take more like 5 or 6 minutes. We don’t have an internet speed issue, so this is an app problem. I wouldn’t pay for this service but we’ll keep slugging along to watch a couple favorite shows we can’t get on PSVue.

Still no better! Stop with the sleeper mode

Ridiculous

WTH nickname taken

This app is a lite version (less channels) of Direct TV app owned by AT&T. I have used both over the past two years and they are equally as glitchy. Most annoying thing is I repeatedly get an error message right before the end of a movie or show saying the content is not authorized after I’ve been watching it for an hour or more. Once I reset the app, “the content” plays normally again, but I missed the ending. Also the app freezes repeatedly and quality of video can be very poor, even broken up at times. No surprise as my AT&T phone service is equally as glitchy.
