Customers can access vehicle information through a features list or an augmented reality (AR) component that allows users to scan features within the interior dashboard of their vehicle. This triggers access to the digital owner’s manual and instructional videos (if available) based on the area scanned. Also now included is a voice assistant that can answer basic questions such as, "How does Eco-Start/Stop work?"
NOTE: The Ask Mercedes app is currently in a pilot phase and exclusively supports only 2018 E-class and S-class vehicles. This application is currently only supported on iPhones 6 and newer running iOS 10 and above.
