This game is very robust, and very confusing to get into. But it holds my interest and is lots of fun, it’s a good pace. You can play it none stop for hours, but aren’t significantly punished if you only login for a few minutes every day. The graphics and effects are beautiful, and it is not pay to win, at-least not what I have experienced so far. I do wish the tutorial was a little more in depth about why you do things, how things correlate better, and what the objective of the game is. They throw a ton of stuff at right from the beginning, I think I’ve learned most of the things now, but I had no clue how to properly play (I still might not)

Before you download know these things: •It is by far the most expensive game you can play short of a junket to Vegas •the game favors Mainland Chinese players. Unless your IP indicates that you are battles will never be fair. •The stated odds for upgrading the equipment are grossly overstated. I.e. it will cost you a lot more than what the devs advertise to upgrade your stats enough to be competitive in the game. •The game is loaded with pervasive glitches that will cost you additional money. Hey, but on the bright side you will get refined apologies from inept, inexperienced, powerless help department contact employees. I would strongly urge you to toss your brand new I-phone in a wood chipper before you download this game. I know you’re thinking I am a small player that just didn’t like the game because I wasnt any good at it, but you’d be wrong. I put up with the dev’s BS for 3 years until I became one of the very largest and best players. But I just couldn’t stomach their lies and deceit any longer.

Do you enjoy a unfair fight? Look no further than AOW! Come one come all to the server merge with players reaching so far as 200 million power! You say you’re only 4 million power? That’s no problem at all! Just use your hard earned money to buy shields 24/7 to stay safe! But we’re not done yet! Even with your shields you will never catch up to the Chinese and Russian players that spend hundreds of dollars a week! So be sure to spend everything you own on our unfair game! See you in the next server merge! P.S. - The pictures and video meant to show gameplay are completely inaccurate as to lure you in.

The game has great ideas but the way it is implemented doesn’t work. In order to progress you HAVE to store or stash your resources whenever you’re not on the game otherwise like others have said you’ll just get attacked non stop. Especially when a server is dominated by a single guild who has multiple high level people sending out attacks against literally everyone on the server. They’re on average level 16 attack people on average level 8 and the game DOES NOTHING. If you’re looking for a fun free to play game move along. This is a frustrating game where the only way to defend yourself is paying real cash.

The game is overrun by players willing to buy the $99 dollar packages in order to be 3x your size. The devs after giving you a few enticement packages then give you only the $99 options. I started on a brand new server less than a month ago and it is already basically dead after the top two guilds merged. Don’t waste your money. There are other war games out there.

I tried to link my progress to Facebook and it restarted all my progress I had made. I had spent money on this game as well. So I guess you have to watch what you do on this game. Kinda seems there out to just take the money from you.

I purchased a $10 pack for resources and gold so I can buy shields, but after 2 hours I still haven’t gotten my items or gold and it charged it from my debit card, so I’m wondering where it went cause I already contacted support and they didn’t help me at all
