Unreliable

When the app works fully, it is terrific. However 80% of the time there is something that isn’t working. The 72 hours to fix a problem doesn’t meet customer need. The chat feature is a waste of time.


Misses the mark!

This app offers at tremendously helpful functionality HOWEVER AMEX and the developer have missed the mark, big time!!! You can not attach two separate cards attach to the same QuickBooks account. This HAS to be resolved.


Easy to use

I just started to use the Spend Manager app for my work expense reports. I need to save receipts when I travel and I often lose some receipts especially if I travel for a few days. This app save you the hassle. Take a photo of the receipt and tag it to corresponding expense line directly in the app. Then you can print out a detailed exp report when back in the office. Very intuitive and easy to use!


Needs Improvement

This app works for the most part, but people having been long complaining in the reviews about the 15 transaction limit. It would be nice for the developers to listen to the feedback and increase it. Last month I turned in 3 reports. It’s a pain. I used to use Concur for Expense Reports at my previous company and loved it! My current company does not have Concur, so I have been encouraging the use of Spend Manager, however, it does need other fixes. When a new report is created, it should save the date range I last used for the report, or at least start from the date of the first transaction not submitted in the previous report. That way when I click on the current months report, it has all the transactions I had already selected previously.


Has a bug ... can no longer use

This app worked perfectly until the update. I used this solely to manage employee cards. The “I agree” button is no longer popping up so I am unable to save changes. App is now useless to me.


Uploading receipts to pending transaction, receipts gets lost

I understand pending transactions but if I upload a receipt for it it need to stay. Bad design


Only iPhone not iPad

Please build a version for iPad. Receipt match would be useful if it would leave out the expenses that have been matched on QB through other means already. Otherwise it’s doubling the data points. Promising!


Not saving receipts!

App is convenient but however it constantly doesn’t save receipts I upload. Everything looks good to go and then next time I sign in a few receipts are always missing. 5 stars if this is fixed.


App will delete your receipts

I am extremely disappointed by my American Express platinum business experience. I opened my account at the end of June primarily for the spend tracker receipt uploading capability for my employees. It worked great for a week then the app began deleting receipts. I called 2 times about the issue and received lip service that the technical support rep would personally follow up in 24-48 hours. This didn’t happen in either case. Called a third time and was told that because of quickbooks ( I don’t even use quickbooks btw, I use xero) that they realized maintenance would be needed and they are working on a patch. The issue won’t be resolved for 4-8 weeks. If you are shopping for a card that will easily manage employee receipts then keep looking!


Please fix touch I.D issue

Great app for uploading receipts but after a touch I.D login, if one goes out of the app and the app timesout when you go back into the app it makes you log back in and doesn’t bring up the touch I.D login option for a quick login. No one that has touch I.D wants to have to type in their actual login info and so please fix this issue so that touch I.D works no matter when you open the app.
