Ugly, buggy and flooding me with alerts (no location based presence). Please fix it.
Needs a better way to pinpoint playback

Good for live view and is quick to open up the cameras. Problem is that whenever I want to review some footage at a certain time, it’s impossible to get to that exact time using your finger to scroll back and forth. For example if i want to get to 7:15 pm, the scrolling will jump from 7:09 to 7:20. So i have to go to 7:09 and speed up the footage to 8x (max) and wait until the time comes up. Would be better if they implement a feature for you to type the exact time you want to go.

If you’re one who easily gets frustrated, do NOT attempt seeking help from Amcrest’s Technical Support. I’ve tried three times in a single day and still, I cannot understand a single word they are telling me. I wish Amcrest had a U.S. base office we could call in to for assistance. Happy with the cameras, hate the Technical Support. Good luck.

The P2P function stopped working on just the iphone version. The ipad pro version still works. Can this be fixed. I have several amcrest units running in various locations and they all suffer from the same “failed to connect” when you enter your SN# manually except ipad version

Having constant failed to connect issues from multiple devices. Other WiFi cams in the house work perfectly but my Amcrest ones are constantly having issues and have proven completely unreliable. We’ve gone through their support, where they Remote Desktop into our computer to view/ router configuration for problems to find none, and said they can’t help me.

App is confusing. Hard to figure out. Can’t set to record from app and can’t set to record from desktop. Just doesn’t record at all although it says it can. Seems like it should be a must have feature. Camera ten feet from WiFi and is constantly loosing signal.

Impossible to recover. No options to recover anything. Tried different cameras and went back (hence 2 stars). No customer service available for this.

I like this app. It always connects to my cameras and I am able to tilt and pan with the controls. It was easy to setup and I can connect when I’m on or out of the network over 4G. No complaints here.

Not quite Plug and Play. Complicated set up. Not always reliable. Why so many Apps for the same product ? Need to simplify and work on reliability. Plug and Play !
