I think Amazon is the best! You can order or rent , as well as view what is offered on Amazon Prime. Better than cable, better than premium channels, better than Netflix and Hulu.most cost effective overall. Go for it!!!

There is no option to buy or rent videos, and videos that haven rented/purchased through the browser don't show up. This app is a glorified wrapper for IMDB. Amazon, get out of the tech game, you're not very good at it.

My Amazon Video app took off a rental movie 2 days early, now I have to rent it again to watch it. Please fix this bug!

So for a good while I've been using my Amazon prime account to watch plenty of tv shows on my phone till I discovered you could download the app on iPad. I then downloaded the app but found that I couldn't access any prime tv shows or movies. I found this weird but thought that it was maybe a glitch or something of the like. I then continued watching on my phone and Mac. Some time later, I found I could not AirPlay tv shows onto my Apple TV. This was quite inconvenient as I had wanted to host a group of people to watch movies. I then decided to delete the app and redownload it hoping it would work. This did quite the opposite as I experienced the same problem I did on my iPad. I have since then contacted costumer support but they have not yet replied. The only place I can now use my Amazon prime account to watch tv is on my Mac. This is highly inconvenient as I cannot take my Mac everywhere and it also defeats the purpose of a portable video streaming service. I hope this issue can be resolved or at least an app introduced on Apple TV to allow you to use your Amazon prime account.

Limited accesses..

Not so "Prime.."

I finally gave shows like Mr. robot and black orphan a shot. Love them! But it seems I can only view past seasons. Despite saying "available with Amazon prime membership," that doesn't seem to apply to current seasons. Not even on a delayed basis. Very disappointing…

I like the App and think it's user friendly. I wish I could buy the movies on my IPad. I have to buy them on my PC then watch on IPad. I haven't taken the time to research this out to see if I can change it. But so far I can't buy on IPad to watch. So that a bummer especially if we are out and I am not near the home PC
