This is an Amazon fire stick is okay but I have keep deleting and download again. A real headache.
Select won’t work

So it was working great for about a week and then went down hill from there. It will start clicking on things and now the select button doesn’t even work. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled and nothing.
Do better. Won’t buy again

I will not purchase another fire stick. I’m switching to Roku when these that I have quit, and we all know they will! I couldn’t tell you how many devices I’ve had to purchase in the last few years because they just quit one day. Then the remotes constantly break and we’re forced to either buy a new one that’s as almost much as a new fire stick or use this horribly inconvenient app that barely works half the time. I’m sad too because I love the format of the fire stick compared to Roku, but the Roku’s work so smoothly and the phone remote works like a dream, and has volume!!

App ALWAYS crashes, I have to renter the 4 digit pin code every other day or it will just say connecting for ever. WiFi signal is great. This is an embarrassment for Amazon.

You are not going to convince me that the good reviews on here aren’t robots. The app crashes with every single use, it will not continue to connect to the TV and will constantly boot you out. Worst app ever.

The app can find my Insignia Fire Tv but when it tried to connect, it will take forever. Majority of the time it will try to connect but fails. The tv and phone are on the same WiFi.
Roku remote

The Roku remote app allows me to adjust the volume on the tv but the fire stick remote does not have this feature. This would be nice to have & would make the app better in my opinion.

I really like the remote you can use on your phone with fire tv except I can’t seem to see where there’s a volume control to turn it up or down.
