Decent, but loses connection easily

I have two devices - a FireTV and a Fire Stick. I use the Fire Stick far more often and it loses connection. Also, if the phone screen times out, back to reconnecting. Often, the connect fails and I have to unload the app and start the app again and choose my device again. I will use it to send the Stick to its Home Screen before I turn off the connected TV, but not for much else.

It has so much difficulty connecting on a regular basis. Lost my remote (my son lost it actually) and now I can’t even watch TV because this stupid app barely works. So irritating. Loses connection a lot.

My remote ran out of batteries yesterday so I downloaded this app to use until I could get more. I though that since this app has such high ratings, it would work for 2 days. Wrong. It worked just fine on day 1, but by day 2 it was barely working at all. It kept disconnecting from my FireStick, when it was connected, the controls wouldn’t work, and then they would overwork and overcompensate for every time you pushed the buttons trying to get it to work. Do not get this app. It only works on day 1.

Miss the swipe pad. I don’t need to see the same message about your newsletter every single time I open the app either. I read it the first time now it’s just a herpes I can’t get rid of
Always loses connection

This remote always loses connection and hasn’t had an update to fix it for 2 months. It stays stuck loading all the time.

For some reason my 1 star review keeps getting deleted but I’ll keep coming back to give it one star. This is the only app fire stick has that’s free and you can’t buy a replacement remote so I’m stick with this app. It constantly has connection issues. And it usually takes up to 5 minutes to connect. Roku’s app always works and never gives me problems. Get better Amazon

Our remote completely quit working and will not pair back to the fire stick. Now when I turn it on it goes straight to I heart radio and won’t leave my tv screen. This is horrible!
