This app is AWFUL. It gets the job done, I guess, but using it is like pulling a tooth. Constantly disconnects, crashes, glitches. You’d think this was a tester it’s so buggy.
Remote keeps disconnecting

I don’t know if it’s my internet connection, the FireTV 4K stick or both but the remote control apps constantly disconnects. I’ve tried resetting the router and modem numerous times to no avail. When I still had the physical remote, the stick and internet worked just fine so it’s definitely the app.

AnytimeYour device has a screensaver. It will lock your device and the TV. So if you want to regain control. You need to reconnect. And this is every time your phone and or tablet and or TV decides that it needs to reconfirm

Literally have to unplug my whole firestick, wait 10 seconds and plug it back in in order get the remote to work if I wanna change the channel. Worst app ever.
