My remotes stopped working and I found the app to use as a back up. It is not consistent with locating my devices. I have I sign in and out of Amazon. It is very frustrating.

Takes a long time to connect

I have to restart my phone so it can connect. I don’t want to keep doing that fix the connection problem.

This App is great if your batteries on your physical remote go out or if you lose your remote. There are two main issues that I have with this App. The first one are connectivity to the actual fire stick. Sometimes the app doesn’t want to connect to the fire stick or there are issues while using the app. The second issue is the fact that the home button is right above the pause/play button and in order to get the pause/play you have to swipe up from the bottom of your device. The issue is the app automatically times out the pause and play button leaving the home button in the exact same place where you might have wanted to press pause/play. I’ve hit the home button many times thinking it was the pause/play button and it’s so frustrating to be watching a show and get completely kicked out to the home screen. Developers need to please fix that!

It hardly ever works! Sometimes it will work for a few minutes then all of the sudden it refreshes and is not able to reconnect to my fire stick. This is the most frustrating app I try to deal with on a daily basis! Oh and deleting the app and redowloading it doesn’t help. I’ve done that several times apparently just to annoy myself.

Great app. Been using it for a long time. But since the last update some of the letters on the keyboard are not working when I want to type into a search bar on my firetvs.

Keeps loosing connection

Poor programming. Looses connection to the device and then will not reconnect. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and restarted my phone multiple times. Fix the programming, it shouldn’t loose connection and then not be able to find it 30 minutes after none use when watching a show.

Potential, poorly implemented and lacking follow through

Connection is bad. 50% of the time the app works flawlessly. The rest of the time it’ll feeeze up, or won’t connect at all. I also don’t know why I always have to re-login to my fire stick, considering I only have one and I never log out. Recently the automatically zooms in, so now when I turn it back I have to zoom out so the screen fits again normally. With a company like amazon, I expect much better
