I love the convenience but hate the glitches. It’ll freeze and I’ll have to restart the entire fire-stick for it to work. And the speak button always gives an error message.

Won’t stay connected to YouTube.tv and constant errors with Disney+.

Each update has caused the app to get buggier during the last few release cycles. The remote used to work 50% of the time, and killing the app and relaunching would reconnect the remote to the device. I updated again last night and now it won’t connect at all.

You know what’s super duper useful? This freaking app!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh god this app makes me spray hot DNA all over myself. Afterwards, after I’ve sprayed hot DNA all over myself, I like to curl up with this app and spray even more hot DNA all over myself. Anyway, the app is very useful.

See’s the devices but doesn’t connect to them. For every one time it connects ... I literally have to try to connect 25 times. I signed into my account and still doesn’t work. I know it’s not my WiFi because it does the same exact thing at my office.

The remote to my firestick quickly drained the batteries that it came with. I bought new Duracell (DURACELL!!!) batteries, and the remote ate quickly through those: they barely lasted a week. So I downloaded the firetvapp (like Roku) on my phone, but it always has “connection” issues from the HDMI connector to the app! So I had to keep Duracell batteries handy as well as signing out, restarting, and deleting then redownloading the the firetv app in order to operate my firestick. #frustrating #faultyequipment #fixthis #toomuchwork

Worked great at first and now we have no way of using our fire stick because the original remote that came with it broke up for a couple months. Basically our fire stick is useless. We’ve gone back to Roku for all of our TVs
