This app allows what Ive been searching for for a VERY LONG TIME. An app that will delete or move emails from a SPECIFIC DOMAIN, not EMAIL ADDRESS. This app allowed me to make an un-useful email account a useful on, bu elliminating 95% of the SPAM coming thru so i get only the emails i need! BRILLIANT. 7 STARS! (if apple allowed that!)

I switched to AltaMail years ago when the Apple app was having POP issues. The now classic version was a significant improvement over the Apple mail app. It was so good, it took me too long to switch to this version. However, after using this version on my iPhone, watch, and iPad, I have found it well worth the reasonable annual fee. I am happy to see that EuroSmartz did not attempt to gouge its customers with their subscription pricing (I am normally anti-subscription). There are many features to like about this app. What I use or like the most is the quick or mass delete, the in-app web browser, only certain email accounts can be viewed in the favorites, the great SPAM filtering, the usable Apple watch app, and the syncing to my other devices. AltaMail offers so much customization that is does take some time to learn and their support team is there to help. I have used their email support and each time, I received a solution in less than 24 hours.

Despite delving into the extensive controls for Altamail I was unable to find my one-time archived emails. Melissa responded to my support request within hours and simply described how to find them by pressing a magic icon that I had overlooked. Problem solved. Altamail has capabilities that the default iOS mail app does not have, and it has been extremely useful for unusual tasks in the several years I have been using it.

Updated Feb 2020 - AltaMail is still singularly the most feature-rich, function-rich, flexible, user configurable email app in the AppStore. Also, the tech support is terrific. You can reconfigure / customize nearly all AltaMail features and functions, including spam manager, multiple custom signatures for each and every user ID, file manager, support for multiple cloud storage services, etc. AltaMail has more capability than any other email app that I’ve tried (and I’ve tried nearly every one). I’ve been using AltaMail now for over 6 years and EuroSmartz consistently demonstrated its dedicated commitment to make the best products it can. Every update incorporates great new functionality. And the EuroSmart team proactively responds to new feature suggestions - they have added at least 6 of my new feature / function requests. I’ve opted for the annual subscription so I can keep getting the terrific updates. I’d give AltaMail 6 stars if I could!

This has been the only email client I have found that can share eml files with other applications just like the Mac Mail.app does. That means I can configure a swipe action to send relevant emails to DEVONthink on my ios devices and be able to action on those emails on both ios and Mac. This has been a game changer for my workflow, because I no longer have to waste time searching for email to respond to. I just file them in DEVONthink in project related groups with OmniFocus tasks that are linked to DEVONthink entries. Now when it is time to follow up on an email, OmniFocus has a link to open that email in DEVONthink and then on ios I can Share that with "Copy to AltaMail" and then tap the attachment to have the email ready to reply or forward as needed. The best thing is this works similar whether I am on the mac, iPad, or iPhone. For some reason most ios email clients that can support Office 365 (Apple mail and Outlook) do not support the Share feature. When they do support the Share feature, they don't support eml file format. I could use Apple Mail on ios to print and then zoom in on the preview to share a PDF to DEVONthink, but I cannot open that later and reply to the original sender.

I recommend spending a little time surveying the various settings, then going back over them to continue trying out some ideas you may have for your desired workflow. I customized the side and action menus and returned again and again to Settings | Email Management. Throughout my tour, this app *functioned pleasingly well, and I encountered few bugs. The Help is extensive and useful when something needs clarification. Now I have a setup to manage email that addresses the functionality I've been looking for—a dozen apps later. Worth every penny, and more.

In the other app it would not let me write. I have only been on it for a week. I see the potential but it is not easy.
