Love! but some bugs

carolinecoats

I love this app for the workouts and the rest timer! Is anyone else experiencing a bug where their music stops playing completely every time a timer goes off?

Love

I’ve loved this app! But all of the sudden (after about 4 weeks of use), any time I open the app it pauses my music. So I’ll play it again and it pauses it every time there is a 3 second count down— hoping it’s a bug that can be fixed because it didn’t do this previously

Really great app! 10/10 would recommend

I’ve been using the Alive fitness app for about a year now and absolutely love it. In fact, I just saw my end of the year recap and I’ve completed 133 workouts on the app! I used to put together my own daily workouts but was looking for something with more consistency and I’ve been following Whitney on IG for a while so I decided to try her app. I think it’s totally worth the money - I love how user friendly it is and how well it’s organized. I have only done a few of her 8 and 10 week programs but I really enjoy the warm ups and cool downs since it reminds me to stretch before and after each work out, plus the added 5-min warm up cardio in some of the programs helps me get more cardio in my routine. Overall would recommend this app to anyone looking for a great and consistent workout plan! I would love to see another more advanced weight training program but I’m sure she plans to add more in the future :)

Wish there was a search feature.

Ok, so I am a little bit of a shy person. Going to the gym can be intimidating, however, the gym has more equipment than home. I can’t afford to create a home gym, not do I have the space. I wish that this app had the capability to put together a weekly schedule with dumbbells only. This seems to be dedicated to at home workouts. Or maybe I’m using the app wrong…

ONE OF THE BEST WORKOUT APPS!

I downloaded this app a week ago and it’s kicking my butt in the best way! I love how it has both at home workouts and at the gym workouts. I’m a mom of two and didn’t know where or how to begin. This app has changed that and now I feel confident getting back in shape. While there are minor things that need work, overall it’s been incredible.

Love the app but could use some improvement

First off i absolutely love this app I think it’s great, especially for beginners. With that being said I think some diagrams of the muscles meant to be targeted during each exercise and stretch would be really helpful; often times I find myself being scared that I’m not hitting the right area and knowing which muscles are meant to be involved would really help that mind to muscle connection. I also think the option to see a more in depth explanation (like things to keep in mind while doing this exercise and what not to do) would be really helpful as well because just the little video sometimes isn’t enough for exercises that im very unfamiliar with; often times I end up going to YouTube and looking up “how to” videos and while that remains effective it would be so much better to just have that in the app!

Love this app! Really helped get me right!

I love watching Whitney’s work out videos on YouTube but this app is even better than that! It’s like she’s really working out with you, you can watch her and try to perfect your own form based on that and you don’t have to keep pausing and going back because it’s the same move on repeat which I love to watch while I’m doing that exercise. I love that it has timers that go off right there in app so you can easily move on to the next exercise then. Cons: I wish it was more explanatory, I wish she would tell you where you’re suppose to be feeling the certain exercise at so I knew what I was looking for. I wish she also explained the moves a little more because sometimes the videos don’t get it all. I also which there was a section for vocab that she uses like super set or RDL’s I had to look them up but it would be nice to know right there what it was. However I love the app I love the 8 week course to get you started and help get that hour glass figure but that you can go down and have a ton more options for the area you’re working on. Over all love!

Not gonna happen

The fact that it’s not free and she charges you $14.99 like a gym membership is ridiculous.. workout apps used to be free and if they charged it would be $4.99.. of course now every app I encounter now charges something. Will de deleting this and instead watch her free YouTube videos

Not displaying end of year recap

AbigailEDusk

End of year recap says 0 everything :( Other than that I’m obsessed with this app. Would LOVE it to be integrated onto the Apple Watch. Update: they fixed it but some of the warm up exercises repeat when it’s not supposed to repeat on the workout overview. Also would love to see a chart of weight progress.

Grateful

Best purchase I’ve ever made on the App Store. I’ve always worked out, but I find it easy to fall off track and planning my own workouts just adds an extra step of stress in my day. With workouts and plans already made for you this app keeps you on track and EXCITED about getting your workouts in. If you are debating buying this app - stop debating now.
