Love love love this app! I just wish it could pair with the Apple Watch, instead of getting up evey time to hit next on my phone it would be easier to have it right on the Apple Watch! Besides that, love this app.

My favorite fitness app!!

Paige from ATL

I have tried so many fitness apps and workout programs and Alive is my absolutely favorite! Whitney’s workouts are designed with flexibility, sustainability, and practicality in mind. I have done both Alive Inside programs twice now and they’re a big reason why I’ve been able to stay active while working out at home. The timing feature is the best of any app I’ve used and helps me stay efficient and make the best use of my time. The graphics also make it easy to make sure you’re doing every exercise correctly. The workouts are also a great balance of cardiovascular fitness and strength training. Could not recommend highly enough!

Whit is kicking my 38 year old booty…and I LOVE IT!

I’m on my third week of the At Home Intermediate program and “holy heck-n-bob” ?… I’m hooked!!! Whitney and the Alive app really motivate me to want to work out. I even get kinda bummed on rest days because I miss doing the routines…but I know my body definitely needs the rest. Take it from a 38 year old mama…you’re never too old to start or get back in shape. I HIGHLY recommend getting this app and following Whitney on YouTube and social. She has the sweetest soul!

Wanted to love it

I love Whitney, so I really wanted to love this app. Unfortunately it’s just so confusing to use. I tried using it at the gym and couldn’t figure out how to start. Once I did, I couldn’t figure out the sets and reps. I also couldn’t swap exercises that included bands or other equipment my gym doesn’t have. It made my time in the gym really stressful and I wasted a lot of time. I think this is better for home workouts than at the gym. It would be better to use if the workouts were clearly organized by “gym” or “home” and we had the options to switch exercises. And once starting the workout, clearly labeling sets and reps together.

Good for beginners

I’ve had this app since it launched. The at home program was so nice to have during the pandemic gym shut downs. The original programs are helpful to learn how to split your weeks and different workouts for different muscles. Unfortunately the app seems to have transitioned to be geared mostly towards the at home piece. Recently dropping FOUR new at home programs. The most advanced gym program ‘Strong’ (which is dated) seems to have been thrown together with little thought or creativity. The choose your own workouts have bugs; rest times are out of sync or misplaced. Feedback provided on the Facebook forum is often ignored. I’m disappointed that after a year and a half of waiting for a new gym program I’m now having to cancel.

Amazing!!!

I have tried half a dozen apps over the last few years and this one is superior! The design is so beautiful and motivates me to stay on track. It is so seamless to open your phone and immediately get in to your warm up, workout and cool down with ease. You can easily add your weight and set if needed and I love that the rest period will do three beeps when it’s about to end even while listening to music. I also love the emphasis on gratitude and journal entry! I love this app!!

Best fitness app!

I’ve tried a few different apps but this one is so well developed! I love the routines, I am sore! Also it shows you warm up exercises and after stretches, which I typically avoid but having it written out within the workout saves me. It even times you between sets, super win!

Love the app itself, needs more content

I absolutely love this app. It’s very user friendly, I love how you can look at weeks ahead of a current program to see you what you’ll be doing. I’ve done Alive 1.0, Alive 2.0 (both gym programs) and Alive Stronger. I liked all 3 of these programs, but they became very repetitive and sometimes very short. A lot of the exercises were the same. I personally like more variety and although I like and appreciate hip thrusts, it seems like a lot of times thats a lot of what lower body days consist of. Also, there is no way to change the rest time. Often the rest time is 90 seconds, and sometimes it would be nice to change that. Overall, great app. Just would like to see more variety/challenging workouts.

HOLY HECK N BOB ❤️‍?

Where to even start….if you know Whitney Simmons then you know she puts her heart and soul into everything she does and that is exactly what she did with Alive. There are so many programs for both at home and gym plus cool down and warm up circuits that make it too easy to incorporate before and after your workout. Whether you’re a beginner and not sure where to begin or have been going to the gym for years…this app is perfect. I can’t recommend it enough. And the mental health journal is also an amazing added feature. I have no doubt Whit will keep updating and adding even better features to this app, a 10/10 workout app to help you maintain a healthy lifestyle and feel confident while doing so!

Didn’t really Love

I rlly like Whit’s content on IG, but every program on the app felt super beginner. None of it was advanced even though it has “advanced” sections. Half the workouts were like warming up and using bands. I think I like the IG content more
