I always lose everything

I’ve been through ten different alarm clocks and never found one that worked perfectly for someone who had trouble getting out of bed in the morning. Alarmy has changed my life, ensuring I get out of bed and saving me time in the morning. It’s not only intuitive but it also works flawlessly. Highly recommend.

Preface: I’ve used Alarmy for years — very satisfied. It’s the most loved/hated alarm I’ve ever used. The math option? Evil. Very effective, but evil :P The problem: Recently (maybe with the latest update...?), Alarmy thinks that my background app refresh is “Off” — I can’t create any new alarms or toggle on the alarms that I already made (that are currently toggled off). I’ve made sure that I /do/ have background app refresh set to “On”, I’ve tried switching it off and on again, I’ve tried restarting my phone, but Alarmy still says that background app refresh is “Off”. I would delete and re-install Alarmy, but I’m worried it’ll delete my alarms and still have the background app refresh issue, thus rendering Alarmy completely useless to me. I’d prefer that not to happen!

Background App Refresh?????? Doesn’t let me set alarms. Keeps saying BAR is off, when it is actually on. Latest update ruined it.

Whats with the last update?! It stoped working and I cannot neither turn my alarms on nor the app understand the background app refresh is on!!! Guys I love your app but come on. Updates solve problems not creat one.

Settings fit for any sleeper and the tasks option make sure you don’t tap snooze and fall back asleep

This is by far the best alarm app. Please give the option to use the free versions app icon though. That would make this unbeatable.

I was apparently using an older version that worked flawlessly. I never had any of the issues that others reported, as long as I left the app running. Recently I deleted the app, because a picture mission alarm went off and I wasn’t at home to complete it. When I downloaded the app again, now I have to have background app refresh on to set an alarm?? Lame! I have that disabled for all apps on my phone. And you know what? I still disable it after I’ve set the alarm and guess what? It still works. So maybe you could make the background app refresh thing optional, and I’ll give you that star back.
