Alarmy (Sleep If U Can) is the innovative solution for those who just can’t seem to get up on time, even with an alarm clock. This app has been cleverly designed to force you to get out of bed. You set it up by registering a photo of an area or room in your house. Then once the alarm is set, the ONLY way to make it stop ringing is to get out of bed and go take a photo of the registered area.

The World’s Most Annoying Alarm
Dubbed as “the world’s most annoying alarm”, Alarmy has quickly become a favorite mobile app among users. It has been featured in Gizmodo, Cnet, and at Huffington Post, and is currently Number One in its category in 70 countries, including France, Germany, and South Korea.

Users are truly enjoying this app and many have devised their own unique methods around the alarm’s requirements. For instance, you could register the foot of the bed as your location, then you would only need to wake up enough to take a pic of the foot of your bed and then go right back to sleep. Of course, this totally circumvents the whole purpose of the app but has become a fun pastime for many users.

Works Better Than Other Alarm Clocks
Other creative locations that users have come up with include the ceiling of their room, a nightstand, or the floor. If you’re more serious about really getting up on time, then how about registering the bathroom sink or an item in the kitchen?

Though the app has sparked lots of interest and has proven to be really entertaining, it will definitely get you out of bed. If you absolutely MUST get up on time for an important appointment or job interview, then this would be the perfect solution.

Reviews

Best.?Alarm.?Ever.?

Randomized sound is essential imo because my ears will get used to the the alarm sound. The mission makes me get out of bed in order to turn it off and go scan a barcode in bathroom. There is nothing more that I can ask for.

WASTE OF MONEY
Tattot10

Absolute waste of $8. The app is identical to the free version, minus the little ads. Would like a return so I can just use the free version. Absolute rip off.

I am notoriously bad about not leaving reviews but I had to change that starting with this app. This app seriously saved me from being fired. I was a constant roll over and turn my alarm off without ever waking up person and my career was suffering for it! My work has very strict start times and I was showing up late and rushed all the time because I could never wake up. With this app I am able to set it so that I have two snoozes, and I love that you can limit them by how many you’re allowed and how long they are. And once they are finished I get up and go to the bathroom. I use the barcode challenge and I either scan my shampoo bottle or my tooth paste. And I might be a zombie for 20 minutes waking up but I’m an on time zombie and that’s what matters! I also love the random alarm sound feature as this keeps me on my toes because I really think I desensitize to the same sound everyday. If you are considering this app seriously give it a try! It’s the best alarm app ever and it will help you get up and get going on time everyday!

Not working with IOS 13

The mission do not work with iOS 13 anymore it just goes off and keeps vibrating.

Dismiss without unlock

I’ve enjoyed this app as a substitute for Alarm Clock Xtreme since I started using iPhones. Once I got my 11 Pro, though, I can no longer dismiss without unlock. Snooze or otherwise. I don’t know if this is an iOS 13 thing or what. Hopefully this gets fixed. And definitely not an $8 app. I think I paid $2 and that was enough.

4 AM clinical rotation? tired and spun off the copious amounts of studying and cabernet sauvignon from the night before? no worries, this and one tall boi of starbucks cold brew will get you up.

Paid for full app, developer releases “subscription” on free app...
digikrynary

I used to tell all my friends that this was the best alarm app out there. “Buy the pro version” I’d say, “it’s worth every penny.” But recently the developer got greedy and hopped on the money-hungry “subscription train” nonsense that developers have been resorting to lately. Not only have none of the “advanced” features made available to the monthly subscribers of the free app been ported to this paid app, but the paid app hasn’t even been bug fixed for iOS 13. Alarmy 2 would have been a better option. But to charge $150 for a “lifetime” subscription is ludicrous! Shame on this decision.

Great App

Helps me out a lot. Gets me up in the morning and to my daily meetings on time. ?. I love the diversity so many different choices for sounds, loudness, setup etc

Stopped working
jeremyken227

I cannot figure out what happened, but when I got a new phone I made a new alarm and this thing only makes sound about 50% of the time. Read a bunch of articles and can’t figure out how to make it work, and had to stop using it because I kept waking up late.
