Great App but it eats storage

Been using this for years. I love the fact it has vibrate for alarms. Recently I was managing data/storage on my phone and discovered this app was using 7 gbs of data! Why on earth is an alarm clock app using all that space?

Through a few different phone I have used this ap. Tried a few others but they are unnecessarily complicated or have features that I won't use. I particularly like the fade in feature.

Looks good but tried to get me to add a weather ap and then even worse had a upsell box at the bottom that I couldn't get to close or go away that wanted me to get a bible verse per day. All this before I could even get to check out the clock's featurrs itself. Only thing worse than bloatware is religious bloatware. Deleted it within 5 minutes of downliading it.
Data continues to grow

Have to delete this app every few months to delete the data that quickly grows to over a gig.
