Used to be perfect, but still very good

This has been my go-to clock app for years and I’ve always loved it. But lately—when I put my phone in landscape mode for the first few times after launching the app—it thinks the center of the screen is in the lower left corner and THAT’S where it puts the time. It doesn’t increase the font size and it hides the lower half of the time. It takes several tries of going back and forth from landscape to portrait and back again before it displays the time larger and properly centered.

Update failed in a few days?

App worked well at first then city, temp, weather condition, disappears while settings shows it to be ok. “Update failed” now shows and appears to be permanent when I never got an update notice. Now it is a simply an alarm clock without your city, temp, and weather condition in app’s description. Time and missing info was accurate at first. What happened?

Splash screen & ads

Always opens with a splash screen ad and no option to close the window. Permanent ad on the bottom. No options to pay for ad removal.

Nice sounds, not reliable

I use this his alarm all the time. Several times I have set it the same morning as I want to wake up and it didn’t work. Example, today at 2am I set the alarm for 6:30am and it did not sound. I double checked for Am Pm settings. It simply did not activate as set. Not the first time, but it will be the last time unfortunately. I will have to delete it and use a new app now.

You can’t get hold of anyone online if you have questions or something doesn’t work. I upgraded because I thought I was getting the local four day weather view. There is one but it’s not local... it says Beijing and it doesn’t change either. This is why I upgraded. So yeah I can write a handwritten letter asking for assistance or not have upgraded at all.

Alarm Randomly Fails

Once every 30-60 days, the alarm goes off but makes no sound. Totally random, no settings have changed. Will work for a month or two, fail to make a sound one morning, then work for another month or two. That’s too frequent for me to be able to rely on it. An alarm clock has to work 100% of the time.
