Very nice but has issue

I have to say I love this. I was about to hack my ipad but thought to try this first. I can import or export from my photos at a decent speed. It's like having a true flash drive. My issue is that every 5 seconds it say to reconnect to it even though its connected. It will ask during uploads to it so I know it's still connected but you have to click retry when moving around and selecting files. VERY annoying. But it does work so I just hope the makers fix the bug.

I have used airstash device and app to transfer videos and photos to and from iPads and iphone 5. Worked very well. I would like to view pictures a little quicker when viewing from airstash and I was disappointed that you can not zoom in a photo while viewing from airstash. App and device still does everything it says it will fairly simply.

Of the 13 travelers, there were 6 iPads! Since several people could log onto the AirStash+ wireless network created, everyone could view all the photos at same time. The "UHs & AHs" were heard as we saw many details in pictures that were overlooked in the camera viewfinder. Lions lurking in the brush appeared where they may have been overlooked! Makes you think twice about going behind a bush for a "personal time" break! Several times the 3 vehicles were stopped near each other for animal viewing. The AirStash+ wifi network would allow sharing of photos to different vehicles! That was amazing! We all could share that "perfect shot"!
No document upload

Downloading documents from the drive to the iPhone is fine, but there is no way to upload a document file to the drive from within another app. The Airstash+ app doesn't show up in the "open in" list for other apps. The SanDisk Connect Wireless Flash Drive app has this document upload capability, so why not Airstash? Airstash can upload pictures, but not documents!
Must-have for iPad; great for iPhone

The AirStash should be one of the first things any iPad owner buys. AirStash provides the unlimited storage expandability we all wish Apple would provide. It's very easy to use; I don't know of any other pocketable device that creates its own Wifi network, allowing iPad/iPhone to read from and write to SD cards. I keep a 64GB card in the AirStash, loaded with videos. On cardio workout days, I can walk or bike for hours through a variety of countries (I highly recommend videos from VitaDigital Productions). When I want to share a photo quickly, I can pop my camera's SD card into AirStash, import photos into my iPhone, and use my iPhone data plan to email, message or post one or more photos from wherever I am. Multiple devices can connect simultaneously, so family plane travel or train travel can keep the whole family entertained! Early firmware had some minor bugs, and AirStash support was helpful and friendly. Very highly recommended!

One wonders why these features weren't included long ago. Would have sold a lot more of these little puppies. Anyhow, not complaining, keep it coming.

Just wanted to remind everyone the Dev promised bat try monitoring and now we have it. Hopefully they will continue to add more features to this, better photo viewer would be nice. I still believe the AirStash is the smallest of these type of devices, but there is a lot more to choose from now, so kept the interface a plus, or lose out to the competition.

The last update removed any doubt that this is the best solution I have found to solve several problems I have had since the release of the iPhone. I can now open a file in this app and send it to my Airstash to back up. I also was able to connect to my home network and the Airstash with no hickups this is getting good. Thanks for the update. I can now increase my files space on my ipad by moving files easily in both directions.
