Far less restrictions than the SNES Aerobiz games.

I grew up loving the SNES game Aerobiz & Aerobiz Supersonic but always wanted those games to have more cities available and remove the route restrictions and limits. This game pretty much does all of that giving you so much more freedom but there are some things that that the old SNES games had that I'm not seeing in this game and hope they will be added at some point. The biggest is that the Aerobiz games had the ability to buy certain businesses to boost city economies or tourism ratings which in turn you'd receive more passengers on your routes and you could spend money advertising those routes for even more passengers. Of course you could lose money on those ventures too. Air Tycoon lets you buy businesses but they don't seem to do anything for boosting passengers. A secondary ability was that the SNES games had complex passenger load calculations i.e. open a NY to London route would generate a certain number of passengers but if you or a competitor opened a new route from say NY to Paris, Aerobiz would take in account that some people were taking the London route to get to Paris and would then drop them from the London route when the Paris route opened up. I'm not seeing any effects like this in Air Tycoon unless I missed seeing them. Maybe the calculations are too complex for 100 some nodes but even a simplified system would be nice. All in all I give this game 4 or 4.5 stars with some room for improvement and I'm just as addicted to playing this game as I was the SNES ones. This game is a natural for a touch interface and eliminated the controller awkwardness on the SNES. If I could just merge the two games, I'd probably never get any sleep. I keep looking to see if Koei ported the Aerobiz games over but no such luck. I keep looking for Koei's Uncharted Waters game also or similar game but haven't found one yet.

Such as more than one type of aircraft for one route, more aircraft, and more realistic specs, the B772LR Worldiner has a range of 9,300 Nmi etc. More cities, point to point flights rather than spoke hub system

This game is fun but they haven't updated it since 2012. A lot of people have good ideas but they don't seem to care. There is an online version and it seems that's the one they only care about.

This is not like the AT 1, it is not playing with other player, is playing with the bot only~ don't like it

I'll have to find another game. This is annoying me. It kept saying I was going to have maintenance problems between LA and Chicago. I had closed that route and it kept bring up the same warning then I kept having accidents there even though that route was closed!!! Come on man!! Get your act together!!

This game is great. It really keeps me entertained on those 2 hour commutes. More cities though! And let's add some classic planes like MD series and the classic L10-11!

There is an add advertisement their other games. Get rid of these NOW! I purchased this app amd you put ads on it. Unbelivable. Waste OF MONEY!

Good for the price but there's some fine tuning that needs to be done. Additional cities would be great as well. Even with the issues I don't regret purchasing it.

This is a great game that's got me hooked for a long time. But the fact of the matter is they now have released a new air tycoon game and will no longer update this one. To get my 5 stars do this; Add the a350, and MD series planes, add at least one route per country and add at least one additional route in countries that have at least one route already, enable there to be a configuration that differentiates your domestic flights to your origin to your international flights and add some charter and lease contracts that let other companies rent your owned airplanes, add smaller commuter airports and make it so every single plane can't fly to every airport; smaller airports can only handle the smaller dash crj and erj planes, and add more variables like owning businesses in cities or things you can invest in for your business etc.
