Love it

If you like racing games this is one of the best. I loved Wipeout on PlayStation so this may just be nostalgia. Not buggy at all on iPhone 6s and really shows off the accelerometer. Thank you to the creators and I can't wait for the coming content.

I used to love this game

Visually it is awesome, but using the Apple TV remote makes this game unplayable. I have my finger on the throttle but I dive during a jump?!?! The remote works flawlessly for apps but not for this game. I can actually watch my racer lose power during an alone time trial.

Sorry...

At first a beautiful, interesting, and addictive racing game. Then the controls & track layout get frustrating as you grind on upgrading cars and memorize tracks. Finally, I max out a car and realize the game doesn't respect its own mechanics (maxed out cars of the same type do not go the same speed on a straight away?). With no payoff to all the grinding the entertainment value tanks; still it's pretty and challenging in a hamster wheel sort of way.

Fantastic

When I first played AG Drive a few years ago, I played a bit, thought it to be a bit interesting, accidentally deleted it, and forgot about it. I re downloaded it recently and started playing again. When I was blowing through Tier 1 without too many difficulties, I was wondering why, even with the speed bar displaying speeds up to 2,000 km/h, nothing felt particularly fast compared to other racing games. It felt like they were just putting big numbers to seem like it was fast. Then, I got to Tier 2. Oh my god. By the first race, you're zooming across the stage at speeds such as 2,000 mph, and this time, it felt like that. It was really exhilarating, despite crashing and falling off a lot more often. If you want to play a mobile game and feel like the fastest thing in the world, try this game and go for Tier 2. Watch out for a bit of grinding through Tier 1 though. Personally, I never noticed that I was grinding very much in Tier 1. I played a few quick races here and there, upgraded a few times, and by the time I started continuing the main races, I got gold in half of the events before I needed to grind again. However, if you're someone who was already fed up with crashing and falling off and handling in Tier 1, you probably shouldn't go for Tier 2. It'll be a nightmare of you. I felt like I should mention that another upside of Tier 2 is that while you do have to start from scratch with a new ship, this time you get the option of buying any of the ships (Epsilon, Minstar, or Sokudo) instead of just Epsilon. They also added three tracks based on the Mirlonians, with lots of water in the background (Background: 7.8/10 too much water) and really fun segments. Mir'aunn has now replaced Gamma Dive as my favorite track. Another cool thing I found is how well the database fits. The database is a small detail with very few entries that many gamers probably overlooked. However, I have a lot of free time, and I read the database a few times. It's really nice how well the entries fit into the game. The database describes Mirlonians as a species adapted to water, and the Mirlonian stages have lots of water. Database even give reasons for gameplay details (e.g. Why the Epsilon has good handling and acceleration but average speed). One thing I liked for some reason is the entry on ZORG Corp. It's nice how the developers threw in some details about how ZORG began as a humble software company and is now somehow a multimedia giant because why not pretend to be Goliath?

3 years of coming in last place.

The developers should beta test this game with their grandmothers. When they can win a race, release the game. Latest update: Impossible to come in anything but last place. Boring. Middle Update: Game becomes monotonous coming in last every race. I'll keep it around to show off the graphics but I don't see playing it that often. Old review: Update my review when I get finish downloading and actual play this thing.

Very good game. Amazing update.

Unique and good game with nice graphics. I like this game. Thanks for the amazing update, now this game looks better!

Glad I didn't update

It sounds like one of the recent updates made the game free to play and started nickeling and diming gamers. I got this game when it first came out and was a premium title. If you can get your hands on an old copy, the game is great! I will not be updating unless they miraculously get rid of the in app store.

Solid racing game!

A lot of the reviews on here are n00bs complaining about how hard the game is. There is a lot to learn to get good enough to have gold in all events, but it is possible without pay-to-win. Learning the tracks, utilizing different cars' special abilities for different races, learning the special turn (brake/turn), and having some patience to do a bit of grinding to update your vehicle. The game is hard, so if you are looking for something easy, go somewhere else. But it is possible to legitimately hold everything. I would have liked to have seen Tier 3 more than leaderboards in this patch, but I am just happy and grateful that they are still updating the game.

I love this game
