Not worth it in 2018

Outdated and stale game. Bought this and really wanted to like it. It was ok for about 10 minutes but so boring after that.

Confusing on Apple TV

Somegraphx

Bought cause highly recommended but only appears in a quarter of the tv, making reading anything practically impossible Cannot figure out the navigation on the remote and basically am stuck in the garage, trying to format my ship. Accidentally spent the game money on equipment I didn’t want (because the play/pause button purchases item) and I have no more game money left. Yet can’t get out of purchase mode, so I’m essentially stuck. No matter what I do on the Apple TV remote, it stays in the “customization” screen and the only other screen I get is to buy more money in the Apple store. Can’t find any tutorial on the controls. Great graphics and I get the Apple TV remote is super weird, but frustrating to not be able to see it full screen.

Great game

filler the solder

It’s a good game just wish it would fit full screen on my iPad Pro 11 otherwise I would give it five stars

Rip off!

Bk5950

Bought this game for my Apple tv because it was on list of best games for Apple tv and it doesn’t even fit the whole tv screen. What a rip off, its only for mobile but was on that apple tv list. All other games i dloaded on apple tv fit the screen, this is just a small box in top left corner. Dont buy this for apple tv.

Awesome AG racer

Monkeysee2003

Reminds me a lot of wipe out, or F0, lots of fun! Please update for iPhone X screen. Thanks

Not full screen on Apple TV

Tekkygirl

After TVOS 12 update, this game and Riptide GP 2 only fill the top left quarter of the screen on Apple TV. Please fix, these are great games I paid for.

Great game so far, but needs work.

UPDATE: This game is critically lacking iCloud Synchronization and a "Restore Purchases" function, and still hasn't received even a bug fix update in two years. Please do something about this, I lost over 7 months of progress and around $10 of in-app purchases when I transitioned to a new device. - - - - - - - I have seen gameplay videos and heard much about this game from my friends. I also decided to try the game out for myself, being a huge fan of Anti-Gravity racing games. The sound options could use some work; for instance having separate options for environmental sounds, engine sounds, the computer voice, etc. Adaptive difficulty also needs a tiny bit of work, as it stands the difficulty curve is very inconsistent from one level to the next. Physics need improvement; the ships don't swing from side-to-side as much as would be implied by their appearance, and the brakes are not very helpful. Wall collisions feel a little sticky (and lack any form of audio or rumble feedback), ships seem to stick to the track just a little too much, etc. Visually, the game is beautiful, but a variable day/night cycle and some more variety in the neon building lights would both add a significant breath of fresh air to the game. Some of the tracks feel like they copy-paste throughout their length, making it visually harder to tell at what point of the track you're on and therefore harder to guess upcoming turns. The music is too short, and when a song finishes playing mid-race, it just pauses for a few seconds and then loops. What it should do is shuffle to the next song as soon as possible. Some backstory on the individual tracks you can race on, probably delivered by the computer voice upon starting an event, would help make the existing lore even richer... Ship colors? I don't know why new paint costs money, but it doesn't seem to cost very much so that is forgiven. What is *not* forgiven is the small selection of colors (and lack of different patterns) to actually choose from; I would suggest doubling the number of available colors, as well as enabling players to choose a second color. The boost on the Epsilon feels very sudden, which when combined with the lack of rumble, can really take me off guard when coming up on an open section of track without any walls or when I'm entering a tight corner (Force Touch activation took a lot of getting used to). It would be easier to control if it were a surge of rapid acceleration instead of a spontaneous jolt. Thruster trails could use some work, and aren't visually prominent enough (picture something out of Wip3out, and you're good to go). The camera doesn't sway or tilt as dynamically in other Anti-Gravity racing games such as WipEout 2097 or WipEout HD, and it also feels just a bit too close to my ship. That said... This is still a very fun and simple game to get into, a suitable companion to my collection of racing games alongside Sony's WipEout, Gameloft's Asphalt, and more. Update: - When fully upgraded, the Sokudo and Minstar (in both Tier 1 and Tier 2) are underpowered in the hands of the player compared to the fully upgraded Epsilon in the same tier, but because the AI usually has much better reaction times with the brakes and a much better grasp of where to turn, they are nearly impossible to beat when they use fully upgraded Minstars and Sokudos... and that isn't helped by the fact they are immune to the shockwaves and disruptions from the Jump and Auto-Beam respectively. I also dislike the way the camera pans when I use the jump, and the way the Auto-Beam doesn't at least try to maintain a proper racing line (activating it while touching a wall is a bad idea, because you are still grinding against said wall).

so close to perfection

wipeout fan & now ag drive fan

This is my favorite game. I absolutely love everything about it - playing mechanics, graphics design & art, music, customized controls, back story & history, etc. It was a challenge to get gold in every single event & every racing game should be challenging. It is an absolute shame that tier 3 has not been released & from the looks of it it may never come. If AG Drive had tier 3 & the ability to race against others online then it would be a perfectly designed & flawless game. So close to perfection.

Unpolished game

Triptweeze

There’s better racing games. This is too un polished to want to play it

Brings back memories of F-Zero.

Dariomatic

Awesome game, superb graphics, lightning-fast gameplay. Reminds me of old racing games like F-Zero.
