Adobe finally fixed the problem with InDesign

DadooS55

Comp works with InDesign again. I am very happy with the product now, after spending the last three years creating a highly illustrated book.

Great delivery

Great for mock-ups. I don’t think I won’t use another program. I am sold on Adobe Creative Cloud and would recommend to anyone. I do not write reviews for many products or programs. Take my word on this on. I have a degree in Communications. These programs are top shelf!

The Best Way to Prepare a Social Media Post

Michael2033

Instagram and others only allow a certain page ratio so that the image displays well on the feed (for Instagram it’s 1.7777:1 to 1:1.25, or a landscape computer screen to an 8x10) so if you want to post something taller and skinnier than an 8x10 ratio like a standard 4x6, it will crop part of your photo. With Adobe Comp, you can take your photos and mount them on a solid color layer that is the correct size for social media and it won’t crop. For example, you could take that 4x6 and put it on an 8x10 matte. If you make the photo as tall as the matte, there will be some bars on the side, which is an unfortunate limitation if you want to post without cropping, but you can make those bars any color or pattern you want. You can make it work for you. I wish IG had a way for you to do this in app haha

So thrilled to have

Alicia & the boys !!☺️

I love this app, it saved me this week in while I was working out of state and had to work on a project. My only issues are that it crashes a lot and there is now way to set the typeface and for it to stay that way for the whole project.

Good in theory; nightmarish to print!!!

2020: Now with a new iPhone, I can’t select anything at the bottom of the screen as it is obscured by the home bar. ??‍♀️ The actual function of the program is lovely and elegant. The gestures are clean and intuitive. Easy to mock up a layout. The trouble came this morning when I tried to print. What a nightmare! I printed to an Epson via wifi; the first sheet worked great. But after that, everything fell apart. I couldn't print any more pages whatsoever from the same document. The print screen froze repeatedly. I tried everything. The job never made it back to the printer. Worse, when I exported both pdf and image to print by itself the quality was terribly low in both. I tried printing on a different printer. Adobe Comp CC got worse. I attempted to print to an HP and my phone completely went black. Shut all the way off. I was horrified and had to hold the power button for 15 seconds or so till it came back on. Basically, printing from my phone was a fail. My mobile productivity with this program is severely hindered without being able to print. EDIT: I cannot upload to Google Drive either as a PDF. That is a real issue that I should remove another star for. But I won't. If you are using an iPhone and you have an issue like mine and need to print something from Comp, here is a sure fire workaround: Never print via image share!!! Share PDF to iBooks, and then print from there. It will be lovely quality with no hiccups. EDIT 2: Another issue I've noticed with this app is that elements have a tendency to move after exporting documents, especially as pdfs. For example, I've mocked up great compositions only to find images or shapes have shifted on top of each other or off the page entirely. It's frustrating. Why do items move around that way? Exporting as an image is a no go as the quality is atrocious. Edit December 2016: as of now this app continues to spaz out when I need it most. I have a couple blocks of text and text editing spasms when trying to use it. Elements continue to move; pdfs look terrible because of this. If these glitches were fixed I would be elated.

Adobe is King

Computer programs or phone app’s. Adobe has an incredible diversity of products that allow someone with mediocre computer skills look like a computer program super genius working with a top of the line supercomputer. It is without a doubt the best software on the planet out to geosynchronous orbit. If I’m not doing it justice it’s because there is nothing to compare it to. There’s Adobe and there’s everything else. There’s a lot of great software out there, just nothing you can even compare with. It’s not fair to other software manufacturers. I like it.

Adobe Comp can’t FLIP ?

Using this app is like trying to use a page layout program with my big toe. I cannot flip photos. ? ? ?
