I used to LOVE this app but recently they started putting ads on it. They’re too many and way too annoying.

The Runtastic app is a great app. I like how I can use it without WiFi or data usage. I can also use it anywhere in the world. It seems to be accurate and I like how I can use it for walking or running.

This app forced me to create an account after quite a few months of using it, and then it went ahead and deleted all my past entries.

I am a member of Runtastics app since 2015 after screening of my diabetes. Now I am free from this curse. I am not a premium or paid member but it works fine. I got accurate measure and this is very helpful for me. I just walking 5-6 km a day and now I am feet and I reduce 5kg weight during this time although I am overweight till date. I have fixed a target to reduce another 5kg within 2018. I love this app very much and I feel bad if I not walk any day !! Thanks Sajal, Dhaka, Bangladesh

Used to use SmartRunner and reluctantly upgraded to Runtastic + Results after using the Free versions for about a month until Adidas got me with the 58% Off Holiday Sale!

Since the most recent update, my Apple Watch series 1 no longer communicates with the iOS app. Starting the app on either my watch or my phone, neither one collects Or displays heart rate info. I know the heart rate monitor in the watch is working, because now I have to use the native workout app on the watch. Which means that runtastic is superfluous. I carry my phone for the music. I’m not planning on using just the watch. But right now runtastic is annoying me.

This version isn’t as good. The worst part: twice now I haven’t been able to finish the session. the “pause workout” slider used to be prominent at the bottom -now, nothing except a big green “start” button - I don’t want to start; I want to finish. First time it happened, I lost the whole workout; the second time, it took me 5 minutes to figure out how to stop it, adding that total to my workout - and increasing my miles/minute - rendering the tally useless. Also annoying: too many ads.
