Can’t pair Polar H10

Michael Tode

I like the app, but it won’t pair with my heart rate monitor now (reinstalled, reset monitor, reset network settings...no luck). The HR monitor will pair with polar app and runkeeper, but I prefer Runtastic. It was great at this for a while. I’ll try again after the next update.

I wish you to include the Arabic language on your wonderful application .

I used to love this app!!!

Ez_driver

I USED to love how this app worked with my Apple Watch! I could change my workouts, see my calories burned and my heart rate all on my watch. With the update to the stand alone app Runtastic has become completely worthless!!!!! I now have only 3 workout choices to pick from, NONE of them I do. Martial arts, strength training, and elliptical are no longer available! None of the options left show my calories burned, which is what I use for my workout length. There have been very few times in my experience where a company has taken a pretty good product and made it completely worthless, but this in one of them!!! On top of all of that, it took hours to find the info to show that things are not “broken” but instead are the new way it works! Good bye Runtastic, I am now in search of a new workout app that actually has some customization to pick workouts I actually do and ability to do what your app used to do!

Favorite exercise app!

GoPackGo65

I’ve been using Runtastic for over 4 years and it’s my favorite. I use it every time I exercise outside: hiking, biking, running, walking, cross country skiing, even swimming! Absolutely worth the $36 a year for the premium version.

Terrible app for Apple Watch users

est7486

This was my favorite running app. I was a Runtastic Premium member. But Runtastic has stopped supporting the Apple Watch Series 1 in any sort of useful way. The Sep 2017 update created a standalone Apple Watch app, whereas previously the Watch app was basically just a convenient way to view (2nd screen) activity being recorded by the iPhone app. If you are one of the many people that don't upgrade your Apple Watch every year and still have a watch without GPS, this means you have a choice. You can either use the standalone Watch app to record your run without a GPS trace and an inaccurate guess at distance. Or you can use the iPhone app but not get any benefits from your watch (no 2nd screen and no heart rate). When Runtastic touted this as an upgrade to a fantastic new Apple Watch experience, they were appropriately ripped apart in the comments by longtime users. They have shown absolutely no sign in the last couple months of doing an about-face. In fact they have replied to the commenters and mostly dug in. If you are a Premium Runtastic member, you should contact them to cancel. I requested a prorated refund since they literally broke the app for me, but they cited T&C that I had signed and declined. You do still need to cancel or they will automatically renew you. If you are a free app user, this is probably not a running app to stick with. There are plenty of better alternatives out there. And if you haven't yet tried Runtastic, don't bother.

What Happened

B Dizzleeee

This used to be an awesome running app. What happened?? Seems like this new update just destroyed the app. I’m not the only one either. I have the Apple Watch Series 2, and all of the sudden the heart rate tracking doesn’t work. Also when I start a run on the app on my phone, I used to be able to see live updates on the watch, it was awesome. Now The watch app is standalone? Which makes absolutely no sense considering it need my phones GPS. So dumb. Guess I’ll be moving to MapMyRun or some other app. This is garbage.

This app has issues to WiFi and Bluetooth

denis-wittich

I could not figured out what was wrong with my WiFi and Bluetooth in my iPhone 7 Plus. I got two iPhones replaced as defective at Apple Store. Both of them seemed to have defective connectivity modules. I got my third iPhone. When I installed this app I got the same issues. When I deleted this app everything got ok. Dear developers please fix it. Thank you ——————- Dear developers, Thank you for your reply. I love this app. I use Runtastic Results for CrossFit and love it too. I hope you can fix this connectivity issue. Thank you
