It works, most of the time

First of all a bunch of one star reviews from people saying it doesn’t work is ridiculous. Set it up properly and it’ll work. Simply import the DNS rules and you will be fine. Since iOS 14 it hasn’t been allowing websites, and some apps to load properly.
It works, but it could be better

You have to add the DNS rules in the example URL for it work. Why it’s not there by default is beyond me, and the one it provides is not very expansive. I’m trying to create one myself, but haven’t had much luck. This is for more advanced users.

This used to work before Apple changed the rules. It still doesn’t work for me even though they have had two updates. It doesn’t work and no one can be bothered to reply to my email. Don’t waste your money. It was worth it before Apple changed the rules on them a few years ago.

They made some fancy app with all these DNS settings that 95% of people won’t understand. Why can’t there just be a switch to allow what apps can run ads and what can’t? This Adblock app looks good enough but fails at what people really want. A simple solution to block ads off of apps like Twitch or YouTube... I’ll change my review maybe when they have some directions for the majority of people to follow. **UPDATE** Well I figured it out how to get it to finally work. After some digging through multiple reviews. I have seen less annoying ads. Yes I’d recommend this app, if you’re willing to hold your breath and look for directions.

Incredibly user unfriendly. I tried to set this up for about 15-20 minutes and got nowhere. I had to go on Safari just to look up how to set this up. I looked at the website, watched the video. Even when I did that, I was left clueless as to how I was supposed to work this. I shouldn’t have to go onto a search engine just to look up how to set up this app. Unless this gets explained in the app, I am keeping my 1 star review. I do not doubt that this app works. It’s just very user unfriendly and I can’t figure out how I set this up even when I look at multiple sites just to do so.

At first I could not get it to work but then I did the steps the devs told me to do and it actually works! So if you have trouble contact the developer and they should help you
