it used to allow enable/disable from the widget. now because there is no option to disable “always on” mode, the widget is useless.

If you use a decent search engine, this won’t do anything for you. Would have been nice if that was said before I paid for uselessness

Disconnects after less than 30 minutes

This ad blocker used to be my favorite one and it worked extremely well, which should be expected for a paid blocker. However, within the past year or so, the connection on the app seems to disconnect shortly after leaving the app. I’m not sure why and couldn’t find any fixes for this online. The blocker itself works pretty well and is very customizable, however, that is almost meaningless if the ad blocking does not remain active; even though the VPN remains constantly active on my phone, I have to manually reopen the app every time I actually want to block ads (even when the blocker is enabled it has to be manually reenabled). Overall, this WAS a great ad blocker and I will sorely miss it, but I will likely be looking into ad guard now.

I wanted an app that would block ads on YouTube. I’m able to watch videos with no ads at all in safari. I thought it would be kind of hard to adjust to watching videos on safari but it actually has been pretty easy. It’s amazing the difference in a website that is ad infested on safari versus chrome. The site becomes usable again. I highly recommend paying for this app. It’s worth it.
