Great app but huge battery drain

This app is a fantastic ad blocker that works across many browsers and apps, but in ios 13 it accounts for over 50% of battery usage. Although ad blockers can reduce battery drain, the tradeoff for this app is very high.
Feels deceptive

It feels turned off when app is closed. When turned on, it immediately turns on, if you choose to keep it on. That behavior feels rather not as expected.

Best AD Block Hands down & Great support. Installed app and at first I still had a few ADs from different Apps. Support explained I had to import DNS rules for additional configuration. They had me to to settings>> import dns rules within the ad block app. They gave my a url and imported the rules into the 0.0.0.0 group as specified. I then launched all my apps and had not a single ad slip through. I could play games, watch IPTV apps/etc and not a single Ad! Best Ad Block App hands down!!

About 3 years ago I got a free Adblock app that blocked adds in all apps from Safari to YouTube. Well I just got a new iPhone and because of Apple’s inability to save free downloads to the “purchased” screen, I was unable to recover my incredibly useful past download Luckily, I thought to myself at the time, I saw this. This wonderful app does none of that, even when using the developer’s suggested solutions. I’d hoped this would block ads outside of just safari, otherwise why would i spend two dollars for something a million other apps do for free? Well it turns out this app doesn’t. Also, the support page is nonexistent and returns you to their advertisement which claims to block “all ads 99% of IOS apps” With that in consideration, I wish I could get my 2 dollars back

Not only was it not at all what it said what it does, but it doesn't work. I wanted to risk it snd hope it worked but the entire reason behind it was to block ALL ads not just on my safari which this app only does. Don’t buy this it is a waste and it is a LIAR
Recent update ruined this app

Had this app for 3.5 years with no issues. Recent update requires VPN and brings my internet speed to a crawl. Such a bummer!
Confusing UI; Doesn’t work on the apps that matter

Firstly, the UI on this is incredibly confusing. You need to utilize a filter list you find online and import it into a dns server in the app, which is very convoluted and frustrating to do. Furthermore, even when following this, it still doesn’t block ads on Youtube, Reddit, Instagram, etc. (aka the apps that actually matter). So if you think this’ll fix anything, you thought wrong. There are much better DNS apps out there that you can use instead of this awfulness. And they’re free. Waste of 2 dollars.
