Don’t buy this waste of time

Gr8.guy

This app was a waste of time and promises to be the best yet the whole DNS crap has to be manually updated, the VPN is ridiculously slow, and it does not block anything because apparently i forgot it was running until i was trying to diagnose why my battery was bleeding power and noticed that 46% of my charge was attributable to this app.

Not Working

nrowensby

Doesn’t work on iOS 13

Good one

mrkalpakkam

I used custom list from blacjack8 and it blocks most ads in apps and safari. If you get one or two ads, you can custom block those by using the app to find the server address. Just recently, it is causing too much battery drain in my iPhone 11 and I have to uninstall it. Please fix.

Not very effective for Facebook

Qazwdxedcrt

On an iPhone 11, and I’m not seeing any appreciable difference in the Facebook ads — the very reason I purchased this. Others’ results may vary of course.

Not as promised

Tarzan's Playmate

Ought app and activated it in Safari. No change whatsoever.

Did absolutely nothing

Lizardfishbird

I saw this app had good reviews, so I purchased it hoping that it would work well. Save yourself the $2. It didn’t. I wish I’d actually read the reviews instead of just looking at the rating, because I noticed no difference between installing and uninstalling the app. It claims to block ads in apps besides Safari, but, in my experience, that was not the case.

Does not work ! Want my money back.

Works for Me but I Didn’t Update

HeebieNoJeebie

031420 - Precisely the reason I never update anything without reading most recent reviews. Have something like 97 apps needing update but no way. AB still blocking ads in WU, Weather Channel, iHeart, TuneIn etc. Ad overlays are blank with but an outline or in the case of iHeart there may be 4 minutes of silence from commercials. Because this is a blessing I’d be a fool to update and loose that blocking protection. You may have to be judicious about setting up the specific filters after viewing the logs but I’m happy with a previous version. (UPDATE: Using version 4.1 - A good two years old.)
