Needs a little tweaking for beginners.

I like this isometric exerciser- it’s well thought out but the annoyances have been mentioned elsewhere- so I’ll be brief, its annoying to have to touch you phone to go to the next exercise. If you’ve never done it before you are definitely flying by the seat of your pants as the how of the exercises require some guesswork. The pics don’t often show how to hold the Activ5. I guess I’m dumb- I bought this through a second party so all I got was a box with it and nothing else. No explanation about how exactly to do the exercises and what they meant by precision ratings. Once you realize what THAT is it seems obvious but not really. I did not have a clue.. am I supposed to ride above the path, trying my hardest throughout the exercises? Nope, you’re supposed to keep the mark to the line. Ok. I’m noticing my muscles are getting a workout and I do feel stronger. I love that you can take this thing anywhere. Just like everyone else. It was a good idea! The exercises are well designed. Overall, a cool thing! Just a little tweak and you’re there!

The future is now!

I love this app- makes working out really easy wherever I am.

Interesting concept but needs work

Charlotte PT

Interesting concept but it looks as the company had a great idea and just wanted to get it on the market before figuring some things out. If you’re wanting to use this for any lower body training you’ll be quite disappointed on that front. It would be very simple to use it for great lower body exercises but the preprogrammed exercises were not well thought out. As a physical therapist I use isometrics all day long and could use it for my patients but the company doesn’t allow customization. Once they do it might be possible to integrate it into my practice. Until then....

Great concept however

Far too many “unable to synchronize data” messages

Great way to sneak in a workout anywhere!

Wow! 30 seconds seems easy at first but I started shaking about 10 seconds in. Very challenging and makes working out fun and convenient!

Love it!

Just getting started, but easy to navigate and the exercises are quick and fun.

Addictive

I enjoy all the exercises - several have become addictive. I like the simplicity of the app. You can favorite exercises and create a custom workout. I'm doing Mud Runner in two months and going to try prepping with Activ5!

Great workout!
