App not working

VBC76

Cannot set maximum pressure on the app for any exercises essentially making what is seemingly a great concept a very nifty paperweight. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the app with no luck.

I was not able to use the app at all in the last few months - keeps crashing

I loved the workouts and the app, but in the last few months it’s the buggiest I’ve ever seen it. It would not let me finish a single workout, log me out constantly, and quite honestly it is very frustrating not to be able to use it anymore.

Honestly was very skeptical of the entire concept because of past “get fit quick” schemes, but gave it a shot based on someone’s recommendation. WOW. It literally feels like I’ve been at the gym for an hour after finishing my reps in about 15 mins. My favorite part is the fact that it shows your progress and that you’re ACTUALLY getting stronger. Highly recommend this app to anyone looking to take on a healthier lifestyle with little time available to them.

Amazing results!

I heard about Activ5 from a friend, I’m glad I did! The Activ5 device is easy to connect to my iPhone with the fitness app. The prearranged workouts cover virtually every body part, and require on 2.5 to 5 minutes of time. The exercises have really helped me strengthen my target muscles, I feel and look more fit. The app clearly walks you through each exercise, each exercise has a simple game like experience that keeps your attention, and you can easily listen to music from your favorite streaming service while doing it. This is so easy to follow, I keep my device on my night stand so I can easily work out when I wake up or before bed. I highly recommend the device! Looking forward to when they add leaderboards and community so I can have fun with my friends:)

Great device but feel the app is a little confining. Would like to be able to customize exercises.

Wow, I love it

This is one of the best fitness apps out there... it’s easy enough to workout and provide you with a great fitness exercise, I’m really enjoying my workouts. The only thing that is missing is the option to brag about my results on the social media, I would love to show my Facebook friends how many pounds I’ve lifted during the week :)

What is with the delay?

The device is amazing and so was the app but after the latest update there is a long delay between screens on my iPad. Before there wasn’t any. Please fix.

LOVED until the latest Update

I loved the Activ5 puck and the app all winter since I got it. Recently I got really into it and completed the Activ5 six week challenge. It was wonderful and I lost 3% body fat!!! However, with the latest update they introduced a bug into the app that makes it lag at the end of an exercise, made the screen changes less responsive (or again just general lagging between screens, it’s hard to diagnose). Regardless, while it used to take 7 minutes to complete a 5 minute exercise routine, it took 14 minutes to complete the same routine after the latest update. It makes the Activ5 puck completely unusable. I am very sad and very frustrated that they released an update without proper regression testing to ensure they weren’t introducing bugs to features that worked. I am disappointed to lose an exercise tool that I not only thoroughly enjoyed but was also seeing real results from.

Mostly great

Good technology, but a little bit too easy unless you really go for it on the initial strength test before each exercise, so make sure you truly push 100% to set your baseline or the workout will be too easy. Another thing I wish they had was a straight pressure measurement mode that you could do as long as you wanted, so you can watch your contraction intensity while doing your own freestyle exercises.

What happened?

I've enjoyed using this device and app for almost a year now, and saw great results. But they recently "updated" the app and made it slow and cumbersome. It used to change to the next exercise within a few seconds. Now it takes about one minute, which has added about 20 minutes to my routine. I like that they've added some new exercises, but the addition of badges and social media sharing could likely be the cause. The device has become annoyingly unusable now. Please get back to the basics of giving us a great, portable training device.
