Amazing, but…

I should say first that I love the exercising I do with this app and the Activ5 device. Superb for muscle tone, strength, and control. You can target the muscles you want to work with. The exercises the app gives us are absorbing, challenging, and even fun. But the app has some annoyances. "Exercise anywhere" is one of its selling points. But that's not quite true. You need an Internet connection to use it effectively. You have to set your maximum strength for each exercise, and that data is kept in the cloud. So if you're on a plane and don't have wifi or haven't bought wifi time, you have to stop and reset your maximum strength before each exercise. And, wow, it's no fun at all to be doing Activ5 on a train, and you enter a cell phone blind spot, and Activ5 just stops. It's happened to me. They need to keep all needed data on our devices, so we truly can exercise anywhere. Also the app keeps congratulating me, either by telling me how many minutes I've been exercising or with jokey observations like that I've used enough strength to have lifted a giraffe. Or a sailboat, misspelled as two words. No disrespect to anyone who likes this encouragement. I'm glad the app gives it to you! But I don't need it, and for me it just interrupts my workouts. I'd like to be able to toggle it off. Plus the time congrats are incoherent. I get praised for 10 minutes of work when it's only been 4 minutes. And for longer times that also aren't accurate. I'd love these things to be fixed. Five stars from me — or six, if I could — once the annoyances go away.

The data is not registered correctly on the apple activity app

It clutters by putting every execrsize with a zero time... So now I have noise of 25 ezcersizes that just show nothing... Does not make sense if you want to track your work. Most likely will return it.

Really works!

Was skeptical, not anymore. This little thing makes you work.

Stop working.

Dublincook

This thing just quit working after only 3 weeks of use not worth the money.

I liked this app

Ggirton

I liked doing these exercises but after a couple days the double press to move to the next exercise stopped working so I returned it to the manufacturer. This would be a great thing to have in a class or institutional environment where someone there would be someone responsible for keeping the little pods repaired.

Fun little device

Chrisburp

I keep Activ5 in my bag at work and pull it out when I need exercising.

Won’t let me register

Meee yo yo

Useless if the app doesn’t work. I can’t sign up or log in or anything! Messaged support on fb. Emailed them. No reply. Returning it soon.

Glitchy app

I bought the Activ5 last night and couldn’t wait to try it out This morning. I had high hopes for it! However, 2 minutes into the first session I had been told that my Bluetooth connection has failed for the 10th time. I was not able to have one successful 30-second exercise complete without having to at least reconnect 2 times. I really want to love this thing, please update the software!

Still buggy

Wowhdjdvd

It’s a great device to use and i love it, however it’s basically only useful with the app. That being said, the app is very buggy. When moving between exercises, sometimes it won’t count a squeeze, and sometimes it will over count. It’s a little bit frustrating, but nonetheless the workouts are fantastic.
