What’s with the delayed timing?

that doesn't pull

Okay so I’m a percussionist. Because of COVID-19, I wanted to try something new and post a video of me playing a bass line excerpt. Basically, the music I would be playing calls for careful counting and splitting (for you drummers/drum corps folks). I recorded my first video WITH MY HEADPHONES and the audio came out great. No interference, nothing unpleasant. A nice clear sound. Now here’s the problem. I come to record my second video and after hearing the finished product of the second video - it’s COMPLETELY out of time and does not fall in with the initial recording. I have NO IDEA what it is but it definitely is not my headphones because they’re brand new. Keep in mind, there’s a new metronome feature on this app so after making the first recording there’s no need for the metronome because I would be going off the first video. Basically the audio and video don’t match up AT ALLLLLLLL when you put in the recordings together. Maybe if I wasn’t a musician this wouldn’t bother me as much but because the name of the app is ACAPELLA I would assume that there wouldn’t be timing issues with the recordings. Definitely wouldn’t recommend and is time consuming.

Ridiculous subscription.

I just want to have fun with the app but annoyingly, I HAVE TO PAY. why no m4a files for the limited!?

Great app, but...

I really do enjoy this app, but it’s pretty expensive to get premium, which allows you to record videos for more than 30 seconds. My other problem is that my videos, and a lot of other people videos have been deleted.

Premium

In my opinion whether this app is good or not is not my issue. You guys are not really here to help musicians to work on serious projects or collaborate with education, nothing, nothing but nothing professional can’t be done with the free app use or Classic one, give me a break, a 1 minute is all the time frame you give to record a music work, unless, I pay $10.00 a month after subscription? I think you are making a lot of money, exploitation of the people in times like we are living now, it does disgust me. I need a minimum of 10 minutes to make something serious, can you give that feature to the none pay people or at least low the prices? I can’t afford this, let the rich amateurs use your premium and make you millions, that’s great, good for you. Thank you but I can’t do crap with this app.

I love the app, but the only thing is after I finish the first video by the time I finish the second it delays it so then it’s off timing with the first!! It really irritates me that, that happened. If it’s a bug please fix it other then that I love love love the app!!

Someone please make a better app

This is the most un-user-friendly app ever. I tried to use it for my choir, and I gave up and just bought editing software, which had actually been so much easier to learn and just do it myself. This app is really weird and buggy. You have to adjust the length of time just right from the beginning, only one person can upload their video (the rest have to do a live recording), then you invite one person to collaborate, but then you have to grant them permission to collaborate after they try to open it, and then sometimes still the button to collaborate wouldn’t launch. You can’t work on more than one project at a time, even if you pay $10 a month. Sometimes if you close out your project and come back, it will randomly say “sent” and no longer have the option to “collaborate” and other projects that are done and sent will still have the option to collaborate — so the last person in the chain would have to keep sending it to me if I accidentally closed it, and then I would have to request permission, and then they would grant it, and sometimes the button to collaborate would launch. Only one person can work on the project at a time, which makes sense, but then the last person in the chain would have to send it back to me to adjust the levels. Why can’t a former collaborator just access it again once someone in the chain has closed it. I’m a pretty tech savvy person, no dummy — I went to Harvard — and I’m also a millennial, and I’ve been using this since Covid started in hopes I would figure this out but forget it. Someone else needs to make a better app. Until then, I’ll be doing DIY.

Add more bpm on the metronome

User57382

It’s a good app over all but I suggest adding more metronome. I’m struggling on making some songs because the metronome only goes up to 180 bpm and the songs I record go faster then 180 bpm.

I just paid for this app Because I’ve seen others use it and it looks amazing. I can’t seem to hear myself record??? idk what the issue is. I can play it back and here it fine, but when I try to record I can’t hear myself in the mic. I don’t want to canc my subscription, but man this is super frustrating. Has anyone else had this type of issue?? I even deleted the app and downloaded it back on my phone. I just want to sing!! AND idk where the support help is with this app??? Who can help me here? And where?
