This is an amazing app, bringing people together to collaborate on all types of music. It’s been a real joy for me to add a bass track to a variety of artists- young and old, beginners to advanced, rockers to country to pop and R&B. Easy to use and a free version if all you want to do is add to others’ work, which is what I do. I do think, however, that the paid version cost structure needs to be updated and made more accessible. Still deserves 5 stars!

Misleading, is not free. $9.99/mo with 7 day free trial. The app itself may be 5 stars, but it’s not worth $10/mo for me to find out.

Other students want to collab at universities for projects but the limitations of the app only being for iPhone is unfortunate.... please make it across more platforms! Such a great tool.

It’s said on the thing, 12+ but when i downloaded the app it said you have to be sixteen and up to use it, MAKE UP YOUR MIND APP! ????

Limitations

This app gets a lot of credit for synchronization and collaboration. Unfortunately this is best for expert singers and does not include an instruction manual. The organization by picture thumbnails is limited and often takes extra steps to add titles. There is a lot of toggle functions that are not obvious. The YouTube videos say it’s easy, but there are many vague instructions that do not clearly cover many of the features. As stated earlier, expert singers who have perfect pitch and dynamics may do well, but they are not a majority. The app is a good first effort, but editing limitations and lack of thorough instructions result in a lot of stress as I work to blend my choir ensembles. Also, a lot of ambient noise is recorded and there are no value add suggestions on why this happens...usually when I add the 4th or 5th singer (sound quality just drops). I would love this app to better and hope future versions are improved and include access to complete instructions.
