A lifesaver...

I have been an AAA member since before I could drive (always good to have the card in your pocket when transported by car). Had a FLAT battery today, probably due to weather. My 700 amp Stanley Jump Starter did not work. So I pulled up the AAA App today, on my iPad from my car on my home's WiFi...requested roadside assistance with possible battery replacement. Compared to calling AAA, it was three clicks and someone was on their way within an hour (usual wait this time of year). My car was in the system, as is my home address, and the app correctly filled in the address of service (my garage). Calling AAA could take up to 15 minutes in dealing with an operator to come on the phone, fill in the details in their computer, and then dispatch service...then wait an hour. So 15 seconds versus 15 minutes to request service, is a good thing in my opinion. The service tech who came out jumped my car, load tested the battery, and made sure all was safe before he left. My NAPA battery is at least a decade old. But the test on the Tech's iPad was showing a perfect battery that was charging under full load. So he was not going to sell me a $128 battery, plus 7% sales tax, plus a credit card fee (~$140-150 "out the door"). Very professional. The tech was a "Good Ol Boy" (think "Dukes of Hazard") who may be a bit of a "hillbilly", in his 30's by my guess. Very good manners, and very polite, and again very professional. The techs are not "AAA Employees", of course, but AAA picks out who are the companies that display their logo on their vehicles. So they are "AAA Representatives" even without their being employees. The man who came out today was a great representative of AAA, did not try to sell me something I did not need. Was Professional, and was an example of the PERFECT AAA experience. I plan to "copy and paste" this AAA App review, and try to find a way to share this "review" with the Tow Company as well. This was a "Complete Experience" from the AAA App to the Service Call...which says something of a great "Five Star" experience with the AAA App, the AAA Service Provider, and especially the AAA Tech.

Very slow & frustrating

Very slow at logging on as AAA member to check on AAA auto & home insurances policy’s. One would think that having both auto & homeowner insurance with AAA, they would not experience this much frustration accessing their insurance policy’s to insure payments are received by AAA headquarters.

Downloaded this as a AAA member to plot a multi-day/multi-stop in California. I start inputting stops and with one wrong swipe I lose the data entered. I enter the first stop, start searching for a way to save, can’t find it. Looking for a “Help” icon. Either I’m dense (entirely correct according to the wife) of there isn’t one. No wonder it was rated at only 3+ stars.
