Done with this.

I liked this before they limited you on 1 hour a week and 6 skips total. You used to get 3 skips per station and unlimited access. I'm not about to pay your crazy fees. Now you won't even get the ad money I generated.

Worth the $30

Look, I was as mad as everyone else when free unlimited listening was discontinued, but $30 for a whole year of no ads and all the music I want? That's a price I'm willing to pay. Besides, it really isn't that much, it's only $2.50 a month, which just means you can't have your latte from Starbucks (just one darn time a month) and boom you've paid for all the music you can listen to! Frankly, if you can afford a cellphone or a computer, I'm pretty sure you can cough up $2.50 a month or $4.99 if you aren't sure you want the year long commitment. For me, though? Easiest $30 I've ever spent.

I Always Come Back

Stefxc

I’ve ventured away from 8tracks since the price had gone up and I was limited in my steaming time, but I always come back to it. I hate putting my own playlist together. It truly limits my music selection because it’s hard for me to find new music and really listen to it because I always wind up skipping to a song a I know. But with 8tracks I don’t need to worry I can just let it play. There used to be this website when I was in middle school called Playlist.com or something and 8tracks is the only thing I’ve ever found that truly measured up. I seriously love this app and will probably never get rid of it.

Once a great app, now ransoms the old app back to you

My commute to work is about an hour, give or take. 'Nuff said. Also, my favorite playlists that introduced me to so many new songs and bands that I love now are typically around an hour and a half long. Please let me listen to the last three songs, 8tracks, my family is dying.

Sad to say goodbye,

Thought I'd pay, but seen even when you subscribe, you have limited skips????

Took me long enough but I'm back

Having finally got a way to listen to my phone in my car, I have a subscription now. I really missed unlimited listening. The variety of music on here is unmatched. Bravo.

Great collection of playlists!

I enjoy this app a lot, even with the recent change to one free hour of music a week, but I can't seem to get the app to work on my phone. I have an iPhone 6S, and after an update a month or so ago the app stopped playing playlists. The updates since then haven't fixed it, and I've tried all the solutions suggested on the help page. The app still works on my iPhone 5S (I decided to stop updating it until it started working on my 6S again though). I'm not sure if this is happening to other users as well. This happened a while ago as well, but it was eventually fixed with one of the updates, so hopefully this time it will be fixed as well! On a more positive note, I really love the set up of the app. It's so fun to listen to playlists that fit into such a wide variety of categories, and know that each one is full of songs that someone loved and put together. Thank you for creating such a wonderful app!! UPDATE: The problem has since been fixed, and I’m enjoying the app again!

Tracks are not loading.

I tap on a song and it doesn’t load.

Waste of Time (Now)

Hood'lum 2013

Started using the app years ago and it was awesome! Now it is just like every other app. They limit your usage of it until you pay. It is constantly interrupted by random marketing commercials. They make it as difficult as possible for you to delete your account. If I can easily create an account using my iphone, I should just as easily be able to delete it. Did not use to be this way! Not interested in just another paid song provider. I'm so sorry :/
