8traccks users list hacked

Riptide360

Why do I have to find out from the news that your app got hacked and our emails and salted passwords leaked. This should have been an in app notification. Please protect your customers when you make mistakes like not securing your code.

Thanks for the Data Breach!

I literally hate this app. You can only listen to 1 free hour of music, and suddenly it’s telling me my account doesn’t exist when I know it does.

8 hours are better than 1

New review Well I recently reopened the app to a great surprise. 8 hours a week honestly strikes me as perfect- about right for one playlist/day, with a bit of extra left to give some breathing room and avoid having to head to YouTube to finish the last playlist. I’m in a minority here, but I don’t care about skips. Weird music is par for the course with usermade playlists, and I never know what will become a new favorite. So, with this change I’m MUCH more likely to subscribe, just as soon as I get a job on campus. Thank you for your hearing users about this issue :) What if there was a way to filter by time? So if I only have 45 minutes left I can see playlists I’ll be able to finish? That would be great. Thanks for being awesome, keep on keeping on! Original review When I first found this app it was like coming home, a community of individuals each dedicated to taking music to every corner of our lives. As such, I recommended it to several of my friends who needed some music and some community as they went through some tough times. Fast forward to now, and I find myself unable to even listen to one playlist a week. I don't like to apologize because I don't like to be wrong, but it looks like I owe apologies to every one of those people to whom I recommended this app. I will come back, someday, when I feel like I could send a friend here without having to make excuses for the business model, but right now that just isn't happening.

Music Wont Play ! :(

?J-A-Double-Z-Y?

i recently redownloaded the app and when i tried to play a playlist the music would not play. i tired all of the suggested fixes but nothing has worked. the playlists play on my mac (on the 8tracks website) fine but not on my iphone 6. please fix! i really love the app!!

If I pay I should be able to skip as much as I want

Jojo philly R

I thought why not pay the measly 5 or6 dollars whatever but if I’m paying for the same thing I had for free when this app first came out and I can’t skip more than six times but I can get music.. and skip as much as I want from pandora for the same price or at least let me skip a lot more than six times that’s just resmarted this app developers if your listening to keep people/listeners around you need to let the listeners skip hahaha it is important!

ads don’t load

✌?

I really want to enjoy 8tracks once again now that the weekly listening limit has been extended but nearly every time an audio ad comes on, it does not load and I’m stuck having to restart the app. this happens constantly, even though I’m well connected to wifi and have updated the app!

It's getting better

Luka Rivers

The listening limit increased which is great! I don't mind at all listening to ads if it means that the weekly limit stays at an increased amount! The only problem now is that the listening timer isn't working as it used to. 80% of the time I try to use it to stop the music at the end of a playlist it doesn't work and just continues on to the next playlist. I normally wouldn't mind this too much either, but because there is a weekly limit in place, I don't want to miss out on the time I have just because of an app malfunction.

So many other FREE choices

West Indies Queen

Sure the playlists are good but with so many other FREE apps that also play great lists...why would I pay for this service? Just doesn’t make sense. If other apps can do it for free with the help of Ads (like Spotify, iHeart radio, Amazon, Apple, etc) why would I choose this app. I wish they would still give us the choice to either view ads (they are still making money) or allow those that don’t want ads to pay. Until then, I’ll continue listening during my allotted free time and then swap to my other free apps which are great as well!
