Can you please make this available in Ireland ? I use to use this app all the time and then it didn’t work anymore cause I was living in remand :(

Great app, written by Liberals?

I like the app a lot but it seems that occasionally I’ll receive an anti-Trump email from the team.

Plus Subscriber for a year

and I renewed for another. 8tracks is a great app and is quite worth the money (which is not unreasonable). As it is today, I recommend this app.

I used to love 8tracks

aelawson10

In its earlier days, 8tracks was my favorite way to find new music. No ads, but limited skips per hour. I wasn’t surprised when that changed, and I understand that it’s expensive to keep a streaming service alive. I’m not mad about the ads or the listening cap or the paid subscription. I just want the dang app to work on my phone. I can’t get anything to play on my iPhone 6s! Pleeease 8tracks, find a way to fix this issue and I’d be happy to pay for a subscription.

Long time user. Keep it up

I've been using 8tracks for years and I love how it keeps improving. I complained about the business model before, but the app has always been at the center of my music exploration no matter the cost. I hope the best for 8tracks for years to come!

Thanks

Thank you for this update - I’ll finally be able to use and enjoy 8tracks like I used to before the 1 hour per week limit.

Not letting me listen to music

*☃*

As to where I appreciate the longer listening, now it keeps skipping all the songs on the playlist and then goes to another playlist. Only thing it plays now are the new audio ads.

Not worth it anymore

This app has really gone down the drain. I understand that it takes money to run a music streaming service, but how they went about it lost me as a customer. Also why can’t I listen to a playlist without making an account? I get the ads and limited skips but it’s infuriating when I want to listen to a 30 minute playlist once and I have to make an entire account to do that. I also tried to log into my old account and it didn’t work so I tried to make another through Facebook and I didn’t want them to have my friends list or the other not required information and it wouldn’t make the account. I wanted to support the person who made the playlist but 8tracks screwed them. Pandora or Spotify are way better to invest your money in. Sorry 8tracks you had something good that I would have supported, but not anymore.

awesome

Amazing way to find music. I sometimes have problems closing adds, but worth it in the end. Thanks for the extra hours!!!

Yeah, I’m back

This is the only review I’ll write for anything app related, but that’s because I feel it’s warranted. I understand this little music community is also a business and they need to do certain things to keep afloat. I commend them for biting the bullet and just being upfront with why they had to change, and of course I wish they hadn’t had to. That said I don’t really think the paying part is the issue, it’s more that we aren’t really given any other choice. Spotify and Pandora both let you listen to music with an ad thrown in every few songs, but there’s otherwise no limit. An HOUR a WEEK is honestly ridonculous and it’s no wonder why people just dipped out because it was either the hour or you cough up the dough. I think they could’ve handled things better or given more of an incentive to stay but as I said that’s neither here nor there now. I came back because this is a community, and an amazing one at that. So I’ll put it simply as I can; this is the only app I pay for, period. I have a yearly subscription for a Barnes and Noble membership for $25.00, and this has more pros than that. Plus, to anyone complaining about the skips or replays, Pandora is no different with that crap. If you can survive Pandora’s skip rules you can survive 8track’s rules. So yeah, I’m back and I’m here to stay.
